Country Icon Clint Black Announces Limited 2024 Tour Featuring Wife, Lisa Hartman Black, and Daughter Lily Pearl Black

Clint Black and his family are once again gearing up to hit the road together. The country icon took to social media on Monday (Sept. 18) to announce that he will be kicking off 2024 with a limited run of shows featuring his wife, Lisa Hartman Black, and his 22-year-old daughter Lily Pearl Black. 

Limited Tour For 2024

“My wonderful family is coming back on tour with me again for a limited run of shows in 2024. The band and crew and I can’t wait to see you back out here with us,” Black wrote in the caption of his latest Instagram post.

Lily also shared the news on her own social media page saying she “cannot wait” to embark on yet another journey together.

Kicks Off On January 31

The self-titled tour is set to launch on January 31 with a show at the Alabama Theatre in Birmingham, AL. Clint Black and his family will continue with a total of seven stops across Louisiana, Texas, and Colorado before bringing things to a close on February 9 in Prescott Valley, AZ. 

This run will follow the talented family’s previous trek titled the Mostly Hits and The Mrs. Tour. During this trek, Lily got to experience life on the road with her parents and also explore her own sound as an artist. This led the young singer/songwriter to drop her very first EP, Songs from the Mostly Hits and the Mrs. Tour.

The three-track project was released on November 11, 2022, and features Lily’s first studio recording, “Never Knew Love,” as well we two live covers of “Cry Pretty – Live” and “Every Time It Rains – Live,” which were both captured during the tour.

After years of building her artistry and taking note of her parents’ success in the business, Lily revealed that finally getting the chance to unveil her own set of work has been “indescribable.”

“I’m still kind of on that excitement high from it because this is something that I have been looking forward to for so long. Especially with last year’s tour, I kind of started to get more excited about something that wasn’t even in the works yet, just imagining what it was gonna be like and getting to share music,” she previously told Country Now. 

Learning From Her Parents

Although she is still learning the ropes and adapting to life on the road, Lily has her parents right by her side to guide her through the tough moments as she prepares to take the music industry by storm on her own one day. 

“It’s interesting because I’ve seen my dad doing it my whole life and I never understood any of it. I thought I did, but the older I get, the more I understand the pressure and the stress and anxiety that can come with it and that it’s totally normal,” she said before adding, “I’m really lucky that my parents are my best friends. To be coming into this with all of that natural stress and nerves and all of the above, I have them by my side showing me the do’s and the don’t’s and just, not holding my hand through it, but in a kind of emotional sense, they are. But they’re also letting me learn from my mistakes and go through the hard stuff. That way, when I am hopefully doing it on my own, I’m not lost.”

When those nerves do arise, she says her dad serves as a reminder that everyone makes mistakes, and his best advice is to always “be the first person to laugh at yourself.” Along with these words of wisdom and maintaining a healthy routine for her voice, Lily shared that her parents have also taught her to stay true to herself, no matter what.

“It’s very easy to not necessarily lose yourself, but just kind of get caught up in things and forget, you know, what you are, who you are, and where you come from and let things get to your head, stress, whatever it is. The best advice they have ever given me is to be myself and that’s either gonna work for me or it’s not. If it doesn’t, you know, oh well, because people love people for who they are and trying to be someone that you’re not is not the way they raised me to do it, at least.”

ACM Poet’s Award

Lily and her mom Lisa also recently attended the 2023 ACM Honors where Clint Black received the ACM Poet’s Award and delivered an emotionally charged acceptance speech. The women turned heads on the ACM red carpet as they dressed in matching pink ensembles while Black sported an all-black look with his signature cowboy hat. 

Before embarking on his headlining run of 2024, Clint Black still has a slew of upcoming performances scheduled as part of his Summer’s Comin’ tour. He’s next slated to take the stage on September 23 in Chandler, AZ.
