The food is delicious, the ambiance is good, and the serving is great. Fair enough with its prize. It is recommended for those who eat a lot. However, their serving is a bit slow, maybe because it's dinner time and the volume of guests is high.

Conveniently located along the entrance of Calle Crisologo, near the Plaza. I love the heritage house ambiance of this restaurant, as well as the outdoor seating. There's usually a queue since many tourists eat here but the wait is worth it. Food is great! I love the Vigan Express we ordered. Their selections are fairly priced, generous serving, and taste really good. A must-try restaurant when you're in Vigan. Will definitely eat here again and try more dishes.

The food was ok as you would expect from a good filipino restaurant. But the atmosphere was nice and very friendly staff.

Once you enter here in Cafe Leona. Get ready for time travel to year 1884. Place is preserve, food is delicious, amazing people. One of the oldest house here in Vigan. A must visit here.

This cafe is conveniently located along the entrance of Calle Crisologo. When we got here, it’s like we travelled back to 1800’s as this place is preserved and it is one of the oldest houses in Vigan. We tried their Poque-poque and Cafe Leona Native Special which consists of Bangus, Longganisa, Bagnet, Pinakbet and Rice. One of their staff said that their Native Special is good for one but it can actually be shared by two persons, just order additional rice. Their selections are fairly priced and they serve these generously. Overall, we enjoyed our delicious foods. We would love to visit here again and try their other foods.

Food is great. Good sashimi. Sisig is nice. Longganisa pizza is so-so. Place is cozy and quiet on certain hours. Some staff are friendly, some are not so friendly. Anyhow, I would go back again.

We went here at 12:30 on a weekday and there weren't many people. Food was okay, pizza was good and the sushi was great! However they have way too many items on the menu. I thought it would be like a specialty restaurant but their menu had Filipino, Italian, Japanese, etc. It's also called a Cafe but there weren't many beverages. Overall, it was ok to try, but there are many other better options around the area.

Located right at the end of Calle Crisologo where the Catholic church is and where a statue of Leona Florentino is located is Cafe Leona which is housed in a well-preserved structure. They serve traditional and modern ilocano dishes here. It's a good place to eat at but just expensive. I like that location a lot

The venue may look old, but it adds to the charm and experience. The food is great, with a surprisingly wide variety to choose from. Service is fast and polite, and prices are very reasonable. No wonder the queues never end!

The restaurant offers Filipino food. It wasn't busy on a weekday. Servers were accommodating and shared jokes with guests. The price range is a bit high but that's because serving is good for 2-3 people.

Spoon and folk were not served even after meals were served. I asked twice but just one spoon and folk were served(we were two) I asked again for the folk. It took one century to get a single spoon and folk. If u have plenty of time and big heart like Jesus then recommendable Btw we were at the restaurant 1st place we 1st table who ordered the food the food was not served completed for an hour. Other table had their food and left. We just cancelled food Thank you so much for wasting our time!

WORST restaurant we Ate here in Ilocos Sur. Waiters are discortious, the food are so expensive yet it's not totally worth it. I ordered miso ramen and the order I got is Mami the pizza waiting time is long but the order served is cold. We waited like 30 mins for the order and they will tell us the order is not available. We have many orders and only rice and pancit where served Totally not worth it, I will not recommend to eat here and We Will NEVER EVER comeback here

Place is very cozy. Dining area is big enough. The building is an old building approx 100yrs. old as you can see the evidence 1meter (3'3") wall with timber beams and flooring on second floor. They serve bèef steaks and other mouth watering foods. They have their own beer brewery which the crew tour us there. Me and my son are both driving so we just tasted 4 flavors of very satisfying beers. My sister also taste the beer.The crew were so polite they entertained us very well. Our experience there exceptionally very good.

A fantastic local micro brewery outlet in Vigan. Also an amazing smoker for fantastic quality meat 😋 It has been one of our favourite places in Vigan. Well done guys 👏🏻 🍻

This was a big letdown. They have 6 craft beers on the menu but only 1 was available. They have a big selection of meats on their menu but only 4 were available. Forget the seafood menu. The only thing available was the shrimp dish. We were severed our order of drinks and then our server disappeared for about 12 minutes. We had to order our limited selection of meats through a different waiter. We ordered the pork belly and brisket. The brisket was tasty but the pork belly was a little dry.

It was a disappointment that they had only 2 beers available: The pale ale and the sweet stout. Then they only had the pulled pork, chicken, and smoked pork belly. No speciality meats were available. The sandwich was not available, nor French fries. Also two of the four desserts were not available. The ambiance is pleasant for a beer brewery but the severely reduced choices on the menu was a downer. The Ceylon lemon ice tea was refreshing. It would have been better to know up front what was and what was not available on the menu.

Cool place in the centre of Vigan serving craft beer and food! There were six different beers on the menu of which four were available - all were decent and there was plenty of food on offer too. The sampler was a good and cost effective way of trying all of the beers that were available. Lots of seats available too.

Was in Vigan for 2 nights and visited this place on both nights. Good food, good beer and good staff. They had 3 beers available during our visit. Salakot, Canyon and Bigote (lightest to strongest), was happy with Canyon while my wife and daughter preferred the Salakot. Highly recommended. *May 13 band was better than the May 14 group*

Service was good, but we were there at 16:00 so it was empty. Food tasted pretty good. Don't bother ordering sides on their own, absolute rip-off. Beer was fine, had a flight and they were all mid grade. Good price for craft beer though.

Went here around lunch time and saw that they are smoking their meat out front. Food is amazing, their smoked meats are INCREDIBLY tender. It's also relatively cheap for the serving size. Sides are also good, especially the coleslaw. I also enjoyed their craft beer tasters! Street parking is available. I saw some mice and lizards crawling around.

was actually eyeing this place for my vigan vacation since this spot comes up on blog suggestions and facebook as well. went there around 8pm. i thought it was gonna be busy but i was a bit of a slow night. the service was good and the food serving was also fast. loved their beef and its sauce. not a beer connoisseur but it was good. only unfortunate thing was they only had 2 available beer variety for that night. the place is also huge and the AC temperature was perfectly set. not too warm and not too cold. the only thing i was wondering was the additional charge on our bill. the receipt shows only around 600+ but the waiter wrote 800 on the bottom side of the paper and told me to pay that amount. unsure if it was for service charge or he just wanted a tip? didnt bother asking but i hope they made it clear as to what was it for.

5/5! That's still underrated. Wanna know why? Then try it for yourself! Their pork belly is awesome, the white chocolate blond is superb! The beer? Great! A perfect place to fill your tummy and chill out. Bring your dates here, they will love it for sure.

We had such a great night out at Calle Brewery. They know exactly what they’re doing with that smoker. The burnt ends, pulled pork, and sauce made us feel at home. The slaw and cheesy mac were delicious too. Also enjoyed a flight of the beers that were available, and it was fantastic. Great atmosphere and attentive staff. Can’t wait to come back.

Awesome staff, ambiance, and food! They are pet friendly and even accompanied us inside since our dog has diapers. They have big servings of food but some of the items on the menu are not available. Overall? We love it. Highly recommended!

Excellent location with lovely interiors. We just didn't get to order much, but so far we liked it. I can't wait to go back and try their hot chocolate.

This is a great way to end your tour of Vigan. Conveniently located at the end of Calle Crisologo. Their food is good value. Great ambience. The place is packed when we went so expect some waiting time. I would recommend the Bagnet Tofu sisig and pares. But of course when in Vigan, order the Ilocano food platter.

Nice for take out and nest time for visit more on afternoon before evening after lunchtime. Great fries onion rings and coffee are my favorites there. Good location on the center from vigan! One from best choices!

First cafe I've ever visited that handed a tablet as a menu😂 They even give a glass of water right away. We ordered the Strawberry Cheesecake drink and the Spanish latte and both were really good. Strawberry one wasn't too sweet and not satiating at all. Prices are good for the quality of food/drinks you get.

Stopped by 1995 Studio Cafe to grab some drinks. The coffee was good (ordered Spanish Latte), the place is just a bit tight. I highly recommend trying the Hibiscus tea. ✅ Service water available ✅ Clean restroom inside the cafe ✅ Pasalubong available (Marsha's Delicacies)

Beverage and ambiance were great. But service is very slow. Had to approach the staff directly in the counter area just to get their attention.

I saw reviews saying they they have reasonable price. When you check the menu, maybe you’ll say the same. But… wait until you get the servings. I did not find it “enough”. Saving grace though is I loved all their pasta. Their bagnet sinigang is bomb, then again, when they say it’s for sharing…lie. Drinks are okay, except the milk teas which are damn too sweet. Place is nice. Service is okay.

Restaurant ambiance is relaxing. Nice to eat and talk with friends. Food has generous serving. - for sharing is good for 3 persons. Simply delicious. -Nachos is good. It has big jalapeno toppings, cheese, tomatoes and beef. Extra beef toppings is only 45pesos. Nacho chips is very crunchy. Milk tea salted caramel- very sweet. Creamy. Needs more ice. Had dinner on a Monday. Already closed at 9PM.

The food tasted very good. We had their cheeseburger w/bacon, carbonara and 2 refreshing lemonades. The atmosphere was relaxing and comfortable. We’d come back to try new dishes and coffees.

This café has a wonderful ambiance, and I had a great experience relaxing here with a cup of coffee and enjoying lunch.

It was raining so it was time to hop into a cafe to wait out the storm. I'm glad I came here! It was quite busy, as almost all of the tables were taken, except for the 7 seater. I felt a little guilty as a single person taking that table, but eventually other people shared the table with me. There were people working, studying, enjoying their food, or like me, sipping coffee. The decor was nice, with woods and brick, local artistry, and soft music playing. The seats were comfy and the server brought me my coffee, which is nice 🙂. I had a cappuccino hot. The artistry was good, the cappuccino was also good. I was able to journal and do some social media while I sipped on the coffee. It helps there's wifi! I enjoyed my time there and would encourage others to go as well.

Food was ok, but service was incredibly SLOW. There were other tables with more people or larger groups that also ordered a lot of food, and they ordered much later after we did, but we noticed they were getting their orders a lot quicker than us. We even had to follow up many times on our order. When the food finally arrived at our table, a lot of the food served was cold - we also had to request to reheat the soup and ask multiple times about other things that were missing from our order. It felt like our table was completely forgotten about or as if we didn't matter, which is why this experience was utterly disappointing. Unless you want to spend your money to starve and have your table ignored or forgotten about, I highly suggest to go somewhere else to eat in Vigan City instead of this cafe.

We had our lunch here last December 28, 2023. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. We love the cozy and comfortable interiors. We had their Bagnet w/ KBL (kamatis bagoong I forgot the L) Bigaa special rice which was superb, the vigan longanisa platter, shrimp pasta and chicken platter. The food was simple but absolutely delicious The price was just right and the serving was more than enough for 5 people We ordered extra rice because the food was really savory and flavorful. Our baby had the pancakes with butter and syrup. I would love to return. They close at 9pm so for dinner come a bit earlier.

What I can say is that food is all good! Sometimes, some cuisine are not available forcing you to look for something else. The staff are friendly, but they can be more warm in their approach. As for the price of the food and drinks, for Filipinos who live in the country, it will be a bit pricey, but for an expat or a foreigner, the price is very affordable.

Serene ambiance, authentic iloco dishes

Delicious food and great ambiance. The place is air-conditioned and there is also free flowing coffee (or single serve hot chocolate) for the breakfast meals.

My fiance and I came here while visiting with a big group of family. We wanted to take out our order to bring back to the hotel. The waiters let us take a seat, and they grabbed us drinks while we looked at the menu. They acted quickly with our big order and refilled our waters while we waited. Very kind people. Their cucumber lemons was amazing!!

This restaurant is very good, clean and cheap. / About $5 per a person.

Average food for average prices. Ambiance is okay and the staff are attentive to guests. We ordered: buttered mussels - 3/5, old stock igado - 4/5, tastes good sinanglao - 2/5, bland tsokolate de vigan/hot choco- 3/5 We also occupied a table for 6 persons but there were only 3 of us. They did not remove the other 3 sets of utensils until we were done eating. They only dished out the soiled ones and kept the others where they were - unsanitary. limited parking is available in front of the restaurant. The restaurant is generally clean.

Good breakfast at the other end of Calle Crisologo. We were the only ones there so attention to us was excellent. Go to the toilet as you will see it is located in a very nice building.

With all the good review I saw.. I'm quite disappointed with the following 1. They serves us grilled fish (pinaputok na tilapia and tuna) I find it overpriced due to the way they prepare the food (blant) and they serves these grilled seafood cold! At least your I appreciate it if you put salt or lemon /lime wedges but no... This over priced fish is so blant we go back to our hotel and ordered fastfood!... I'm so upset 2. Sinigang na isda is served luke warm it's not piping hot. How can you serve sinigang like this?!! Very frustrated 3. Serving staff are only 2 and clueless on what they do (i.e. They serve our ordered Sinigang without giving us serving bowl and they serve us the drinks we ordered without serving glass)... Poorly sequenced. Other restaurant serves us drinks while waiting for the food, and we need to follow up the drinks . I'm very disappointed on this kind of service 4. I understand that It takes time to prepare the food but serving us cold??!! Unacceptable!! I expect a quality food served hot because of the price nothing more... I did not get the full value of what I paid for... I am very disappointed. I don't expect hotel type of service... A least make it palatable and service it hot... We pay good money and we expect good service!!

Walked to the place 9 am. The log menus are readilly available within 3 mins. The place is spacious and clean. The waiters are very fast in attending our needs. Nice place to check when you are in Vigan.

Conveniently located at the heart of the Hidden Garden, this restaurant now offers breakfast buffet on weekends in addition to authentic Ilocano fare. My personal favorites are the halohalo in a coconut shell and their version of the empanada, sans orange color, but stuffed with longganisa, egg, shredded papaya and mung beans.

Sinigang na Bagnet was a threat. Pretty expensive food this side of town. I recommend you try the Ilocano halo - halo.

This was probably one of the worst meals and service we have experienced in the Philippines. We went for breakfast and saw how some people who arrived after us were being served before us. We had to ask for water 4 times, cutlery 3 times... the coffee was 3 in 1 from a packaged mix (horrible) and our eggs, longganisa and bagnet were picked from the buffet where it had been for hours before we arrived (9:30 ish). It was horrible.

Great place. Lots of nice plants, special Filipino figures, taotao - bulbul, and a large collection of bonzai trees and much more. Several restaurants with good food, both traditional food and general food. The place is worth a visit.

You may have to take a tricycle to go here from Vigan Heritage. Very pleased that we were welcomed with such accommodating staff. They have souvenir shops, coffee and restaurant inside as well, aside from the beautiful plants that you may buy in the garden. No entrqnce fee but you may opt to give donations instead.

An excellent experience during our Breakfast I love the food with complimentary coffee is a plus. The ambiance was very calm and you will feel like in the hidden garden because of plants around, the antique on display service was excellent too. Clean and tidy all the facilities I like the bathroom with a nice glass with nice landscape outside

It's a really cool place! Really good yummy food. Good variety and good cool atmosphere. We had some lunch food as well as some pastries. The pastries were phenomenal. I recommend this place to anyone. They also had a live person singing in the background which was really fun to listen to.

We went there early in the morning for breakfast so there were only few diners. As we entered, there were lots of plants, flowers and exotic figures all over the place. It has a marvelous landscape. The atmosphere is serene and engaging too. The food is just perfectly flavored and cooked and they have ample parking. This restaurant is really a gem in Vigan and is recommended to everyone seeking a nice place and good food.

Arguably the best place to eat in all of Vigan. Proper illocano food. Very well decorated. Place gets busy but the staff tries really hard to make sure you are not waiting too long.

Restaurant and Mini Garden in one. Free entrance. Following a nature theme, everything in sight is wood, rustic, and retro. At the get-go, there's a turmeric seller and souvenir shop. They sold local honey too. There are creative donation signs with fat Buddhas and Thai statues. You also see celebrity photos and awards won. The cashier is here with the plants' claiming area. Walking further, the resting spots by the tilapia fish pond is nice. There's a hut with a crystal ball and a wishing well with a frog. Lots of children making a wish by the 1 peso. The primary restroom is very nice, spacious for one person compared to a cubicle (can't fit a wheelchair) and clean. There's alcohol, tissue, automatic flush, and black stones on the flooring that's a good touch. No odd smell inside; always cleaning it. You can view decorative plants from there through the glass that served as a wall between the plants and restroom. If you're dining in the restaurant, you can use for free. If visiting the gardens, courtesy dictates that you give 10 pesos on the bin. There were 3 separate single restrooms for women yet only one for men. The 2 secondary restrooms for women were simpler. Wide and cozy restaurant space. You can choose to sit where there's more leg room or elsewhere with less. Decorations are Asian themed. The statues wore face masks! There are hand washing stations scattered. The one near the restrooms can get crowded with the line. This place claims to feature authentic Ilocano food; a foodie can easily get excited. There was even a funny sign saying, "Please don't leave your husband unattended. Thank you" that implies that wives should watch out for their husbands for overeating because food is good. But I didn't have a lot of food options because the menu is biased for sharing. Only 2 solo meal options! Either you have bagnet (pork) or chicken. In this time of pandemic, I would have appreciated it if they downsized their other menu or vegetables for solo or side dish options too since not everyone would want to share meals. I had the solo sizzling bagnet meal worth 250 pesos. The bagnet was divine, worth revisiting if you can eat crunchy oily dishes. The dish doesn't come with vegetables. I wanted a side dish, so I ordered the poqui poqui dish for sharing of 2-3 people because the staff said it's ensalada, made from eggplant, for 260 pesos. Sadly, I didn't like the poqui poqui dish - tastes different from usual ensaladas, like you ate some bland mushy scrambled egg! It was so strange and doesn't match the bagnet. I had it for take out, it didn't last long for travel back to the city, went stale along the road. If you eat here, just eat and finish what you can. I tried their fresh mango shake for 90 pesos. This one was iced and good tasting with a small umbrella touch. Menu could be better if they had options for solo or side dishes. I wanted to try the other local dishes but I cannot finish that size. If you like eating, come prepared to spend for it can get expensive. You can take out a special empanada order. Seems popular. The seafood kare-kare is also popular; families in our tour group had that. If you want other drinks, they serve milk tea and coffee. The gardens were better. Throughout the path, pictures of their staple menu appear at different points. Coffee corner on the side if you want to hang out there. Empanada stall closed. The Bonsai Garden, Plant World (ornamental plants), and Plant Nursery were open. At the end of the mini garden were flowers at the Bonsai corner. There was a sign near that bonsai garden written in cardboard near a brown plant warning people not to pick the plant as it can impregnate. I don't know, but for couples passing through, that may have an opposite effect! Almost tempting to ask how much is that plant. Not for sale. I don't know if it has that effect or just for laughs. If you can afford it, come to this place. It's a special treat for the local foodie and the plant lover.

What a nice oasis so calm and beautiful in the city. Flowers and greenery so nicely arranged, the plants are all blending together so beautifully. resturng with birdsong you don't get that every day! do it in the middle of the day sit in the shade and have lunch and unwind let the senses rest. and let the flatterers enjoy a good lunch.

the tourist guide took me here for lunch. they have a cafe at the right side of the place facing entrance and a restobar of some sort on the left part. im not really a big fan of noisy places and at that time, they had singers for lunch at the restobar. nothing against them but its just personally, i prefer something quiet. their menu is a bit on the pricey side, so if you are a tourist on a budget, i would suggest not eating here. though their coffee / drinks are on the average price range, so you can definitely buy some drinks, sit down and unwind at their cafe on the other side. i ordered their bagnet sisig and iced caramel machiato. the bagnet sisig is okay, the serving is quite huge, taste is nothing too fancy. the iced coffe tast a bit like 3-in-1. they have plants for viewing and selling if you are interested. they also have a small pasalubong center infront.

Must-visit place if you go to Vigan City, there’s not much to see but the place itself is beautiful, apart from seeing every type of flowers and plants you can also buy them if you like and after that going to the Hidden garden bar to eat or drink something. I ordered the Vigan longaniza which was delicious and my parents and uncle/auntie ordered the sinanglaw which was also very tasty. The menu has a lot of variety of foods from American to Filipino so there’s a lot to enjoy.

Ambience and food is great. Budget friendly but their food is to die for. I recommend their lasagna and ham & mushroom spaghetti. Very nice experience.

There is a beautiful massive mango tree covering the majority of the dining area. I think this restaurant is affiliated with Grandpa's inn. And I don't know. Maybe they are the same affiliation. Because waiters and hotel staff are walking back and forth between the two establishments. But the food tastes slightly different, Maybe I would give the flavor a 4 out of 10. The wait staff is not as attentive, and the prices are higher. On 2 separate occasions, the wait staff at Uno Grille came to our room asking for more money to cover our check. Like as if they were not keeping track of the food that we purchased. I had so much to drink that I wasn't keeping track either. But I paid the bill the first time and we left the restaurant. A few moments later, the waiter came knocking at the door asking for a little more money to cover the bill because it wasn't added up properly. And then maybe 15 minutes after that. They came knocking at the door again. Asking for more money because they still did not add up the bill properly. I could not tell you how much I ended up paying for our meal that night. I just thought that was tacky.

The food here is so good and authentic. Ill visit again next time here.

Imagine yourself taking a break from a long, hot and perspiring walk along calle crisologo. Looking for a place to take a seat you will be greeted with friendly smiles and an ambiance reminisce of the old days. Their drinks is the same as famous brands (sometimes much better). Try cold or hot drinks would'nt matter much as you are already relaxed and chilling in your spot. Go for Vigan Longanisa burger, a unique offering of the place. Visit Cafe Uno, don't want to miss this.

Went here for coffee and breakfast.. They have a good selection of breakfast.. They have also hot and iced coffees.. Food was good and the wall decors are even better, it looks like a museum.

Great value for money!! My mom and I shared a carrot cake (PHP 110) and chocolate chip cookie (PHP 25)—so for just PHP 135 pesos, we were already able to have a nice, cozy, and unique experience at Calle Crisologo!! Loved Cafe Uno 💖 The carrot cake was dense and the cream cheese frosting was generous, tasted and felt very good quality. Would have passed as worth 280-300, actually! The cookie was also really yummy! loved their sweets!

This cute cafe is located inside Grandpa's Inn. One of the places in Vigan that are highly recommendable due to their sumptuous food and cute ambiance. We tried their bagnet dinakdakan, pinakbet and atreet balls/food and they were all great! Affordable prices too. Parking is available beside the Inn itself and staff are ready to assit and get you a table the moment you enter the restaurant.

Had their Hawaiian Sweet & Spicy BBQ Chicken — good portion size which I think is good for 2, and mango crepe for dessert. My friend had the tinola chicken soup - tastes good but I found it a tad salty. It was in the outdoors — we were there in the early evening so it was cool with the help of the large fans. Overall a great experience.

트립어드바이져 보고갔는데 저만 별로라고 생각한게 아닌가봐요.. 와이파이 잘 안터졌고 되는 음료도 별로 없고 직원들 자기들끼리 수군거리고 기분나빴음. I decided to visit here to eat cakes when i saw TripAdvisor. But i dont recommend you to visit here the staffs was unfriendly.. they glimpsed each other and talked about sth in Tagalog. And most of beverages are unable. So i chose chocolate frappuccino and it was a but pricey. Carrot cake was too sweet to eat I thought they glimpsed me cuz i didnt order any foods, but now i know they were just unkind. Wifi was not working but goos thing was i can use chargers and it could be locked.

My family was there last Jan 19, 2024. Service and ambiance are ok, but the taste of their food needs improvement. The price and taste of their food do not match.

Best empanada in Vigan! Go for the Super Combo (longganisa + Bagnet) really filling. The only drawback is the waiting line. My suggestion is order first before you do your tour.

I loved their Sinanglao, it was my first time to try it and made me want for more. Unfortunately I was not impressed with the special pork longganisa empanda, I honestly liked the empanada from Kapurpurawan (Pagudpud) better :) Their okoy was quite oily as well. But the place was chill, and their staff were friendly.

My favorite meal is the combo jumbo for 100 pesos, a whole meal in one empanada that includes hefty servings of longanisa, bagnet, vegetables, and egg, deeply fried to crunchy perfection. Also has great service, they delivered my orders for free at our hotel since there was a wait when I ordered.

I know the empanada is popular in Vigan but I was underwhelmed by the taste. It was bland and lacked any flavor, too oily and I could barely recognize the longganisa filling. Took long to serve as well when there wasn’t much people around. Perhaps there is a better version further up in Ilocos Norte. Looking forward to give it another try elsewhere.

Empanada tasted good. Both the pork (Vigan longanisa) for 50pesos or the special empanada with bagnet for 60pesos. You can opt to have it heated. Vinegar is sour for my taste. But surprisingly compliments the empanada. Empanada is crispy, papaya is the main vegetable with 1 whole egg. Size is alright. Their empanada has a generous amount of vigan longanisa compared to some empanada I have tried.

Great place to hang out with friends and relatives and enjoy their Vigan empanada(with choices of different ingredients). Empanada was so good, we went there 2 nights in a row!

I was alone when I visited. The Empanada is the best! Though it's very oily. You should eat it right away or else the oil will spread and the food will be soft. Just a typical carinderia that you see.

Serves great and popular local as well as seafood cuisines. Mess hall layout and the overall ambiance is good. They have very courteous staff. This is not a fastfood so be patient. The place is perfect for groups, not sure if they accept reservations for meetings/parties. There is also a live band performing on select days of the week.

If you happen to be traveling/touring around Vigan, this is a good place to replenish your energy thru food. Although its location is in Caoayan Ilocos Sur, this restaurant is just few minutes away from the Vigan Central plaza. They offer a lot of food such as seafood, fish, pork, vegetable. And if you are into Boodle Fights, this is the place for you. They also have a cafe for Coffee lovers. They also offer livebands at night but not sure if its available all thoughout the week or just thru weekends. Downside would be public transportation, if you will stay late I suggest that you make arrangement with the tryke that brought you there. But if you have your car, then nothing to worry.

Slow service, said they were out of many dishes, tried to upsell a combo with okra and kamote and Tilapia, when my cousin only wanted the combo with okra and kamote, said it was sold out. It is similar ingredients, just different methods of cooking, they said they couldn't sell them the combo advertised because they couldn't cook it differently, Asked for soy sauce/calamansi sauce without chili, they gave it anyway with chili. Asked for water, not cold, said they don't have it. Gave it cold anyway. Service was slow and uncaring. The initial waiter didn't wait for us to order initially, making it take longer to order. And the sisig was mediocre and had a lot of fat, not much meat really. Live music was the best part, if not the only good part, even if the waiter took a long time to give me a pen and paper to write my song request down as well. I've had better responsive service at Jolibee.

Dont get me wrong, this is really the best empanada i’ve tried in Vigan, but im waiting for 1,5 hours for that and its not worth the wasting time. Although i appreciate the freshness and taste, they could shorten the waiting time. Round the corner from Crisologo is a great empanada place. Almost self service place where you order from the counter and they will deliver to you. Plenty of tables inside and out. Had the king and the special all meat and an okoy. Tasty with the salt and vinegar.

I've done my fair share of empanada eating in Vigan and for now, I feel I've found the best I've eaten so far. I ordered the Special Double Egg empanada without meat. It took awhile as it was made fresh (literally they rolled, filled, and fried), but what I received was not what I thought. It was massive! Two HUGE empanadas, one is enough to share with another person. What's nice is it wasn't too greasy, it was made correctly, the ingredients seemed fresh, and with the suka 😋🤤🥟. The restaurant itself has both an open air and enclosed section. It fits the rustic and historic feel of Vigan. I love the use of woods, using the existing elements of trees and historic building, and plants all around. It gets hot though so bring a fan or sit in the indoor section where they have fans. Also, there was loud music with heavy base playing which, for me, I'd rather enjoy the natural element and the feel of historic Vigan. Overall, best Empanada so far from Vigan. Nice place to dine in as well.

Just when I thought all iloko empanadas taste the same, this place proves me wrong. Even the dough they use tastes better. Their okoy priced at 70 was also very crisp and delicious. I had the double double empanada and both the dough and filling were delicious especially when doused with their vinegar which is sour with a hint of sweetness. Really good value and delicious, this place is worth going back for more.

A garden by the ruins vibe that's jammed packed. The food ordering service is a pay as you order scheme. Be sure to order them all as there's a long queue. Food cost is worth the money.

My main objective when I visited Vigan is to find the best empanada and yes I did find it! This rustic themed eatery serves the best empanada in the whole of Vigan. They're made fresh as they will cook right in front of you. They also served one of the best Okoy, easy top three for me. For some reason their empanada is a notch higher than other empanadas I've tried. Same simple ingredients, but the taste of their dough and batter for the okoy, they did it right. The service is a little slow, but the taste, price, and ambience makes up for it.

Not worth it, a nearly 1.5k meal that first makes you sleep waiting for it before they serve it, then serve you the though meat meal, is not worth it. Very disappointed. Crews are not friendly and accommodating. We’ve been sitting waiting and calling their attention for almost 30 min for our order to be taken but they are making it appear like they are very occupied. Price are also high and not reasonable. We’ve found a way better place in Cafe Leona. Friendly staff, tasty food at a way affordable prize.

This place is great at night!! The food was great. The place is lively. I believe famous actors have been also to this place. The downside is, the toilet stinks and unsanitary. Better take your business somewhere else.

Had talapia, it was two small whole fish for 170ph but then had to order fries as it was not part of the dish to have fries or rice. The bar inside is nothing g special but we sat outside to have ours drinks and it was fun to watch the horses turn into the street and watch the world go by. Great band at the time. They seem to have live music most or every night.

Unfortunately the only bar opened after 10 pm...outside is ok even though half of the cocktail menu was not available, inside there are photos of the owner with his safari game trophies ( killed lion, rhino and so on). I am very sorry we stopped at this place. There is a 10% service charge nobody tells you about...

I love Calle Crisologo except for this WORST Resto. The staff are not paying attention to clients even if they are not busy at all. And the foods served to us takes hours to arrived for a Vigan Platter. And guess what? The foods are COLD so COLD. Like what is happening to this resto? The management should do something it.

We came all the way from the South (somewhere in Cavite). My cousin and her husband, wanted to taste the best dishes of Ilocos Region. Since we’re here in Vigan, there’s no better way to start the day with a very late breakfast of Sinanglaw. Sabaw pa lang panalo na! It was a first for them and they liked it! Even my 10 year old nephew and chief cook uncle loved it! Extra soup and extra rice was badly requested! Their resto only serve Sinanglaw, Arozcaldo, unli soup, rice and soft drinks. A must try Ilocos dish whenever you are here up North! 👌🏻❤️ Btw, this is a new location.

This is one of the places that I will always visit when I am in Vigan. For me, this one of the best offals soups in the Philippines. It's so hearty and it is a favorite meal along locals to start a busy day. You can eat unusual meat cuts and organs like heart , and testicles. If you are adventurous with food then this is the place to be in Vigan.

the food is beef based soup, and if you are a meat lover, you will definitely love this and and you can ask for more soup if you like, and that soup alone can be as good as you eat and savor it with rice or arozcaldo rice (sticky rice flavored with ginger and garlic)

The soup was delicious! Although the meat part that we got was hard to chew. But the soup was perfect. I recommend coming in early, before lunchtime, to avoid a long waiting line.

It's a nice coffee shop with relaxing ambiance. It's homey, simple, jiust the way you'd like to have coffee at home. It's my most liked coffee shop in Vigan. Being near Calle Crisologo makes a good suggestion for tourists finding a place to stop by. Their coffees are nice. I just don't undersdand why they automatically give KremTop with their nice Caffe Latte. Okay na sana, nasira pa. And all dressings in their food (salad, sandwich) are so sweet full of sugar. Otherwise, this place is recommended.

I must say that their cappucino tastes as good as the one from Starbucks but for a much much cheaper price. They have wifi just ask for the password at the counter. The tocino was good.

The best store for last-minute pasalubong purchases. We bought authentic Vigan longganisa (P135) here. It's still good to have it travel to Manila, even for up to a week unrefrigerated, I was told.

This is the original bibingka royal of Vigan, the first time I bought one was 1984 and it bibingka was piping hot and wrapped in paper. It was oozing with butter and cheese

Their bibingka (rice cakes) are soft, cheesy, and gooey, and are such a comfort food. Aside from these famous products, the stall now sells other Ilocano pasalubongs as well. Conveniently located a stone's throw away from the famed Calle Crisologo entrance.

Their bibingka is such a unique experience!! Would definitely recommend!! Don't leave Vigan without trying their bibingka because it's so different from traditional bibingka hehe it's really like a sticky rice cake with cheese on top 🥺💖

We bought in this exact place the other day 3 royal bibinkas ( 1 16pcs & 2 8pcs... 3 Bagnets ( 1 1kg & 2 500g ).. And lastly, 3 Large Longganisas but unfortunately, the seller did not show us the longganisas before putting inside the wrapper & there's no receipt given to us...It was only when we were already here in Baguio when we saw that she gave us the smaller longganisas ..We are not after the money or whatever, It's just that we don't like that we've been deceived... It also happened to my sister in law...they bought a large longganisa & got the smaller one, same thing that happen to us.. I hope the management will see to it that it will never again to others.. So far, we like the royal bibinka & the bagnet.

The place is not visible from the main road. Food is great but a little pricey and small serving. Ambiance is ok, they havr interesting antique pieces on display. Clean restrooms.

Some of the best food in Candon. The food is superb and tastes like home-cooked Ilocano food. Flavors are well balanced. Price is on the higher-end given the portion sizes. The place is clean and furnishings are top notch quality but already showing its age.

The restaurant is located along the highway. More than ample space for parking. It is not wheelchair-friendly. There is a handicap ramp in front of the grocery next to it but you might as well skip that - the incline is dangerously steep. The doors to the restaurant are also tricky to handle when you have ability limitations. The food is pretty good. The ribs dish is tasty which my companion enjoyed immensely. I had the pasta with sun-dried tomatoes and bagnet. I liked it although another one would argue that it's pretty salty. Sun-dried tomatoes plus bagnet may have rendered the dish it's salty taste. The pasta was al dente. It came with a hard skinny bread. This fusion food was intriguing; and I think, it was cohesive and was gastronomically successful. The iced tea was good and it was very sweet - more of a sweet tea than iced teas that I'm accustomed to. Tha place itself is decorated nicely. Although, a bistro by name, expect a restaurant style service and restaurant style menu. Some of the items in the menu are not available as indicated as needing to be pre-ordered, e.g., tiramisu and Panna cotta. Overall, good restaurant with fusion food and some bistro items.

Quaint resto. I like that orders didn't take forever to be served. It also has a really wide parking space so you don't have to worry about car safety. I suggest you order their pasta vs solo meals. Their signature iced tea is really good!

Great friendly place and cozy. Nice for family and friends bonding place. You can find this venue at along Candon highway. You can see a huge building together with some of the other businesses outside of the grocery building but these establishment seems to be on for like a provincial size of establishment which is just so right. Their specialties were in the menu that they where going to present it unto you, sitting and accommodating the table sit inside, for some strict protocols, do not just stay around without ordering something for at least, a drink or so.

Fantastic menu. We got there at tail end of dinner crowd, and place was very busy, but deservedly so. Food was excellent, and service was outstanding

Decided to go there for Mother's Day. They had a menu with specific items handpicked for that day only. The place was packed when we got there at 1 PM with no reservations. We had to wait for a good while to be seated in their ballroom (5th floor) which they transformed into their restaurant overflow. We had one of their specials good for a party of 4 or 5. The food was great. The spare ribs in A1 sauce was my favorite. I am not one to lather a slab of meat with A1 but this was definitely a nice surprise. The shrimp in black pepper sauce as well as their sweet and sour fish fillet were close runners-up. Drinks such as the black jelly and lychee shouldn't be passed. I had a vanilla ice cream shake which is practically a vanilla milkshake to go. We had the fried rice and it was perfect. The staff were nice, accomodating and helpful. One even recommended against ordering another plate of fried rice as that will take a lot longer. She instead recommended steamed rice since that can be plated immediately. She was right. The place is clean and stylish. Only drawback is the location of their restrooms. You will need to step out of the building and cross their driveway to access that facility. The place is wheelchair-friendly and has an elevator. Parking spaces in front and back of their hotel building.

the venue is nice but too much noise / echo difficult to talk to your partner. temperature just right. The food we ate fried lapu lapu with mango sauce fantastically good! Got a new idea for making sweet and sour sauce. the balance between all the senses is perfect. the staff very good and professional. For the taste experience, the price is perfect.

Angkong seafood restaurant is a must try in Vigan. It is located in Hotel Lapira. It has a sort of fine dining ambiance with its classical music playing in the background but a casual restaurant. They serve varieties of viands for pork, beef, chicken, seafood, veggies etc. When we tried Angkong, we ordered Buttered Chicken, Chopseuy, Pancit Canton and Beef with Broccoli. Everything we ordered were delicious but what I think they should improve is their service. They should atleast let the customers know how long it would take for the food to be served so that we could anticipate for it. I think we waited long enough that our hunger already subside so we weren't able to finish everthing. But over all, the experience in Angkong seafood restaurant is worth it.

Located at the ground floor of Hotel Lapira in Vigan, Ilocos Sur. They serve chinese cuisine. Good for big gatherings like family reunions & wedding venues.

I gave a 1 star each because there ain't anything lower. Their site says it closes at 10 pm. We arrived 830 pm we got turned away with the reason that it was their last call. But scanning the area you can tell it was empty. Maybe they want to close early since there was no customers. To the owner: you got lazy, incompetent employees. Seriously.

TBH, the food was magnificent and the ambience was splendid although there's no aircond provided, only fan. Unfortunately, there was electricity shutdown, twice, which they started the noisy generator to bring back the electricity. Summary: Back-up generator should always be switched on in case there's a blackout, which is quite common in the Philippines.

Good food. Staff were kind and accommodating. Parking space available for customers. We ordered boodle for 6 and it came more than what we expected. Good for groups, friends and family.

Set meal costs PHP 300 per person and it includes Pinakbet served in bamboo, Grilled Tilapia, Pork Liempo, Chicken Inasal, Unlimited Rice, Arusip (seaweed), and... a Cultural Show! The place is owned and operated by the Municipal Government of Caoayan, Ilocos Sur, but we hardly hear about this place from locals in Vigan. Would not have found this if I was not looking for an agri tourism farm in or around Vigan. This is a restaurant, by the way, with a small vegetable farm and located right beside Mestizo River. We totally enjoyed our lunch and the whole experience! We'll definitely share about this place to friends who will be visiting Vigan. Suggestions to the LGU: (1) claim this Google Map pin as your business so you can control the info on this page and reply to comments, (2) clearer/larger directional signages from the highway and from downtown Vigan, and (3) perhaps develop the farm even better and provide a farm tour. I think this has the potential to be a farm tourism site. Congrats to the LGU, this is a really good project that showcases Ilocano food and culture, promotes farming, and creates jobs for the locals.

There are only a handful of restaurants that I would recommend in Vigan and Pinakbet Farm is by far in my top five. A definite must go to for quality Filipino food. The view and location alone is an immersive experience in Filipino provincial life.

Pinakbet Farm is always on our itinerary whenever we go to Vigan. Enjoy local food cooked fresh from farm to table. Eat with your hands and enjoy the place! Make sure to catch their cultural show at 12:30pm.

Nice coffee shop at the center of Laoac. Other than their coffees, they have good choices of pastas, sandwiches and pastries. YOu can choose to have a sip of your coffee indoor or at their open space second floor. But what i admired at this coffee shop is they advocate CLAYGO and plastic free. it misght still be along way for their cups for cols drinks but they their plates and utensils which are all plastic free.

Newly opened, this upmarket restaurant served the best food I've had in Vigan. It's not cheap mind you, and the servings are small, but it's international quality. They have a good wine list too. My only complaint aside from the meal being expensive for the serving size is that they didn't serve the white wine cold enough.

We had a family meal here on 22 January 2020 and what a lovely experience!!! Food was excellent and the place was great. The staff even gave us a guided tour while waiting for our meals, they explained the history and I was impressed!

I love the place and the ambience. It has even live piano music. But the waiting time for costumer is too long. I don't know what happened. We waited for our meal for 1 1/2 hour.

Orders take tooo looong to come. Pinakbet order came after 1.5 hours. Kitchen clearly not ready to handle multiple orders. And the food is not worth the wait. Not fine dining caliber at all as they claim to be. If you want fine dining price for a lutong bahay experience then go ahead and check it out.

Very nice. A good place to hang out during and atvthe end of the day. A fab experience in Vigan, Ilocos Sur. Mathieu the chef is French.

Nice bar with great possibility to sit outside (moskito free). Good service and the commonly known drinks are available for a reasonable price.

After we waited the same woman claimed she informed us that we can no longer dine it with a very bad wordings her exact words are : sinabi ko dito sa taong ito (ilocano) na hindi na pwde. Great food at great prices. It's asian-fusion type food, after eating here I don't I like it much better than Max's which is at the front of Stern Mall. Good sized meal for 2 cost me around $40 usd at Max's where it was half that at Gin & Gravy.

The vibe of the garden is great for chillin with family and friends. They have a mini bar and restaurant. Staffs are friendly and accommodating together with the owner. Food is a bit pricey but they are flavorful.

It's a sad experience dining here. After waiting for long to be seated, we were served the saltiest pancit we've ever had. We had to send it back to the kitchen. Portions were ridiculous. Check out how small this "regular" chicken is. 1 star.

This Maxs Restaurant is located at the entrance of Calle Crisologo it was next to the statue of Leona and in front of Cafe Leona. It has a big space able to cater to more than 100 customers. Price: very affordable(for some) Sample: Group of 9 (expect to have 3k meals) complete with rice, 4-5 dishes and Halo Halo. Place: 10/10 Crew/Staff: All accomodating 10/10

It was fullhouse when we came. It took a long time before we were seated and before a crew got our orders. The ambience was chaotic and noisy so i didn't enjoy my meal.

If you come by Vigan and needed to try legit Ilocano dishes, visit Lampong's Restaurant. There is so much to try to get a taste of Ilocos and it is worth the price. Getting into the place was not a hassle either because Lampong's is located near the entrance of Calle Crisologo. First, try one of their bestseller which is the Ilocano, poqui-poqui. Poqui-poqui (pronounced as pokeeh pokeeh) is a meatless Ilocano dish made from eggplant, tomatoes, and egg. It is the same as the sarciado - which is stir-fried scrambled egg with tomatoes and onion.The poqui-poqui offers a sweet and salty taste which is blended perfectly and doesn't seem to annoy your taste buds. Moreover, this Ilocano dish is best served with the famous Vigan longganisa which is a must-try for anyone in Ilocos. Lampong's version of Vigan longganisa is kind of a different variety given the crunch and the salty mixture when we had our first bite. It remains to be promising, but because of the fusion-ized taste of poqui-poqui, their Vigan longganisa complemented it. Lastly, my only comment with this place is that it is small and can only fit 15 people inside. Good thing they have an al fresco kind of vibe so it works when you are eating outside the restaurant itself. In addition to that, one of the server is just so unenergetic when we came. Might be the only comments to improve on. Giving them 4.5 stars, because at the end of the day, it is the food that counts.

The only good thing about this place is that it’s in Calle Crisologo. There’s nothing special about the food. Good luck even touching it after seeing how unsanitary the place and the kitchen is (yes, you can see through the door). Even the water is disgusting. It is so cramped that you can literally smell people from the other table. Service is horrible. They don’t want you there at all, as if you’re an inconvenience to their afternoon siesta. They talk/laugh/do whatever loud. Do not eat here. You open the door and you doubt your judgment. It’s one place you even regret just setting foot in.

I've been in the Philippines for over 11 years. This is the worst meal we have had in a restaurant. The bagnet was like an undercooked lechon kawali, the longanisa was probably cooked yesterday, the vegetables were cold and mushy and the thai fried rice was also like mush, overcooked rice with too much water. Since they couldn't serve it, they thought they could fry it. The service was also poor. We had to go inside to get the waiter /waitress away from the TV just to get a menu. Totally Disgusting Meal! Won't be back.

First time trying mang inasal as indonesian and like it! Its similar to ayam bakar we have in indonesia in terms of taste but here they pair it with soy sauce (the salty one) instead of the kecap manis that we used to. The halo halo is pretty good and is satisfying way to end the meal. The portion is huge and plenty for 1 person. The place, however, needs more care since its a bit unorganized and has wet floors. The staff could improve the cleanliness.

There is a person at the entrance watching who can get in and giving you table numbers. This a racket involving exploitation of young children to beg and sell items. You can see these children going around the corner to turned over the cash. This is not the way to help them. Management shoukd alert social services and police to these practices. We went out. No fresh fish all frozen. And smells bad. While prices high. Not worth it for us. But it's good decor and nice place

Food was okay except for the dinaldalem which did not come as described on the menu. The service is VERY SLOW and POOR. No greetings even from the start. Employees should be oriented on customer service. Worst part was the waiting period. We waited for an hour or more for the order to come. I even have to ask the lady for the food to be expedited since we all are hungry and my father who were with us is also a senior citizen. On leaving, not a single word of gratitude from the staffs. Sad to say but the experience was very disappointing!

Nonetheless, max has never failed to meet customers satisfaction.

Next to Jardin, this is the 2nd best empanada in Vigan. Although the empanada is smaller, the filling is more umami! The place also feels warm and vibrant. There are also a lot of empanada variety like beef empanada.

My second empanada place in Vigan, Nanag Sion serves up empanada within a unique setting. It's like a diner with the different car and bike displays. It has multiple stories and has a great view if you choose to sit next to a window. I came when it wasn't busy and got my empanada fresh. I ordered the egg empanada (I'm ovo lacto vegetarian). One empanada came out looking great, the other came out burnt 🙄). They were both crispy, served on a nice wooden platter. They weren't too oily, which was great. A trick is to open it up and allow the steam to escape so it will be manageable to eat. I had it with spicy vinegar, which adds to the flavor. It's ok. I suppose it's better with meat, but I'll never know ☺️ It's just a little aways from Calle Crislogo, but not too far. It's definitely worth the walk for the nice, unique atmosphere.

Nanang Sion Vigan Empanada is located near the Bicentennial Park. It offers empanada and okoy, with soft drinks and flavored juices. The service is great, and they serve your food hot and fresh. Sauces, especially the vinegar with pickled onions greatly enhances the flavor of the food. The interior of the place is also Instagram-worthy, so take pictures while you enjoy your crispy empanada.

I asked the cashier to remove the macaroni soup as it doubled its price from the last time I ordered one, the cashier said it can not be, it is already being prepared. I said I haven't paid it yet, not yet served and haven't touched it yet, its out my budget. She was hesitant to do it but I insisted. Then she asked the manager to punch her card, she was told 2nd ER mo na yan. I think changing of orders should not be charged as ER to the cashier. One of Jollibee's valued service is accommodating diners and it start to lose.

It's un hygienic, no water in the hand washing area which is very much needed this current pandemic situation the staff even Said that water is not stable in their store, it's very surprising how huge size Jollibee store has a common toilet for all gender including dissable, in addition to that staff are rude and and that they are not smiling I was on the shop 20dec had lunch at 3pm the counter 3 counting from left is rude, another staff pass by me while I was in the line to order my food bump on me and did not even bother to say excuse me, in addition to that the lady who did the cleaning of our table are really not mindful of the people in the table while she is cleaning. Over all I can say that It was not a pleasant experience on this Jollibee branch. One more thing fries is not available when we dine which is super disappointing.

As expected, this local fast food resto is packed with customers. The staff are nice and polite despite its busy atmosphere.

Parking is always a struggle in Vigan but this place might be worth a try for some. Not sure if they are just leasing from the building but it has a huge venue hall and a large hallway and awesome mural for a backdrop. The stairs also look grand; very Hispanic era. They don't accept cards for payment. Food portions are decent. Would go back for their garlic shrimp cooked in crab sauce. Restrooms don't have soap.

They don’t have a wifi. They have a spacious parking lot and fairly clean toilet. The view is really nice as well and the beach is failry clean as well as the water. I am not impressed with the food though. Since it is an open area expect to be dining with the flies. Staff hospitality is okay.

This place is good. Food is great and super affordable! We ordered a feast and paid less than 2k. The view and the cool sea breeze will set you in a siesta mood. It is so relaxing to hear the ocean waves crash on the shoreline whilst enjoying a scrumptous meal. BTW don't forget to order their Kropek, it is so addicting! The pickled chillis in suka as your dip is very addicting as well. The icing on the cake for me was the view.. it is amazing. The staff was very friendly, and the service was fast.

I recommend the Pork Sisig. Squeeze out the red chili pepper seeds for some heat. The fried chicken isn't bad. The beach and parking spots are cleaner than I thought they'd be.

Waited for almost 2 hours after an hour of driving but our order did not arrive. They accommodate the foreigners and rich looking ones considering we're on our pyjama's wanting to have dinner outside with a beach view. Just a tip, you need to look fancy for you to be assisted and served.

McDo store opens until late night. Parking for PWD is available. However the store only serve cold shaked coffee or choco. It should be nice to have it hot as night drivers like me may need on the journey up North. Well hope this message reach the management.

If you want near in Crisologo. Luzon Inn is the cheapest so far there (less than 1k), very accommodating, friendly people. Dont expect too much. Just enjoy your stay and some of them are Bisaya by the way. Heheheh

The food was okay. We had high expectations for the ribs we thought it was a rack of ribs and it was too sweet. The bagnet was delicious as well as the dinakdakan. We dined outside there were plenty of mosquitoes and full of webs.

This is one of the better cafes you'll find in Vigan. I liked the classy interiors of this place. Coffee was strong and good. Polvoron cheesecake is sinfully delicious. Prices were also not bad. Menu is a combination of continental favourites and local cuisine. Wait staff are friendly but a little slow in my opinion.

We went to Cafe Evelyn for breakfast to try and avoid the huge crowds further into Calle Crislogo. It looks as if they serve a buffet breakfast to people staying at the Casa Blanca hotel. We decided to order a la carte. It took awhile before we flagged down a server. He did not smile or greet us, just asked us what we wanted to order. We made some changes to our order because I am a vegetarian and the other doesn't eat bacon. The orders came out, though not together. I had eggs over rice. The first order had a bug crawling over the yolk. After telling the server he took the order back, but didn't apologize. After we finished our meals nobody came to clear our table. We walked up to another server to get our bill taken care of. Our server seemed disinterested and did not smile once during our meal. We always had to initiate so that we could have food served. There was no apology for a bug in our food. We enjoyed the food, but we did not enjoy our time there. It's a shame as it's attached to a very nice looking hotel. Based on this first impression, we would not come back or recommend this place. We also probably would choose a different nicer hotel to stay at as well.

Located at the other end of Calle Crisologo, Cafe Evelyn is a cozy and ambient Modern Filipino themed restaurant. The vibe is fancy and comfy. The service is 100% commendable. Menu has a lot of options that offers Filipino cuisine (including Ilocano cuisine), American cuisine and Italian cuisine. I wish I could come back and taste the other dishes as well.

Ashtin sells delicious empanadas with vinegar perfect for snacking. Love the Double Egg variant, it's very filling. They serve everything hot, which is great. Drinks are also available (they have water and soda).

According to my cousin, this is a newly opened Vigan empanada place. Tip: you can park your car just around the corner. Most tourists don't know about the best car spots to park in old Vigan. This eatery accepts cash and GCash here - they also have a toilet on the 2nd floor of this old house, and you get to see all the old paintings hanging just around the corner of the 2nd floor. Note: We were here just 3 weeks ago and I'm sorry to hear about the earthquake today July 27, 2022 that damaged so many historical buildings in old Vigan. I know Vigan will bounce back! Back to the empanadas here - this might not have the same rustic setting as the other more prominent empanada places in old Vigan - but their empanadas can hold their own vs the other players, and they're just off the main Crisologo Avenue. Try them all - the basic, the regulars, the double meat.... They're all equally good, crunchy, and dipped into Ilocos suka. Wash them all down with a cold soft drinks. Or bottled water. This empanada place does take-out and stays open much later than the empanada stalls at the plaza.

As you can see in my photo, you'll die in oil eating their food. All of their "silogs" and the Arozcaldo is too salty and sticky. Even the rice is "Garlic Rice" but it's wet and sticky. Coffee is so bad that me and my friends choose to drink our water than our order. The only "okay" for us is the ambiance of the place. Señorita Dulce, once a promising alternative to Marsha and The Sisters, has taken an unfortunate turn toward the expensive side. Recently, I tried their 6 pieces toasted mamon, priced at a staggering Php 90.00, only to find it lacking any special appeal. The toasted mamon offered nothing exceptional and fell short of the standard set by ordinary bakeries, which offer better quality at a fraction of the cost. Señorita Dulce seems to have lost its charm as an affordable and tasty option. For those seeking a delightful treat without breaking the bank, it might be wise to reconsider Señorita Dulce in favor of more reasonably priced alternatives. The rise in prices without a corresponding rise in quality leaves much to be desired for budget-conscious consumers.

Products are great. They have retained the quality over the years and innovated their products. Mejo too pricey lang ung items nila.

This restaurant is on the side of the road and is frequented by travellers who need a break, be it washroom, lunch/dinner or just simply wants to rest. The total amount we paid for 3 dishes, rice and water included was 455 pesos. The food that came out was really skimpy, the dinakdakan was a little tough, beef with ampalaya has no ampalaya at all but the sinigang na bangus is bang on in taste. The decor is not bad, cleanliness is to be applauded and the varieties and choices of pasalubong is excellent. We have just eaten at your restaurant on the outskirts of Vigan. We normally always stop at Marsha's but decided to try place for a change. We ordered 3 dishes. Chicken adobo, curry and Beef Kare kare. We were served a pile of what can best be described as dog bones covered in sauce. If we had ordered it from a street vendor at 20 pesos we would still be disappointed. Quite simply the most expensive dog bones we have ordered anywhere. We now understand why your place is always empty when we drive by compared to a packed Marsha's just down the road. I really don't see us returning or recommending your restaurant. Sorry to give you the bad news but you need to encourage people to come back with your food not make them drive by.

we love the food, wish we could eat more. if you're traveling north and will pass by vigan, don't miss this place, and you'll enjoy the authentic ilocano dishes. a lot of thanks to the owner and their hospitality. we'll surely miss this experience.

Best place ever to eat.. U have a super large variety of food u can try, I don't know the quality.. But I loved it. Be ready for a long waiting line... But worth it if u want to try local food

I have been in this clean and delicious serving eatery of the Heritage City of Vigan for many times. I always had my meals here whenever i got here for a shopping trip. The eatery serves a variety of home-cook style Ilocano vegetalbe dishes with either fried or roasted fresh-water fishes. Their meat menus are fine and delicious. They also serve seafoods such as sinigang na malaga. A bite of their Pork Barbecue creates a inviting want for another bite. Its really delicious with natural spices. Ilokano food at its finest! Best part? Its cheap! We ate here everytime we had the chance when we were at Vigan. The place is clean and the staff are accommodating.

Our favorite carideria since childhood. Serves the same wide range lutong-bahay quality ilocano dishes at very affordable prices. I always crave for their igado and dinuydoy nga karabasa.
