food is always good service is excellent I do not like that they charge for using credit cards I usually buy less and it makes the whole experience far less enjoyable, its a good place to eat

Our biggest complaint is that it took too long to get the food. Salads came out quick, it then about 1/2 hour to the food. When it came out it was not hot, leading us to believe it was the fault of the wait staff

Went there after Mother’s Day, with my mom and we were the last two people to be served. I had salmon and rice, let me tell you, the salmon was terrible it had no taste and had a weird smell to it and the rice had no flavor. I had to bring the food home and season it myself which made a huge difference. The people that served us made it seem like we needed to hurry up and eat so they could close. And let me tell you about the reservations, they have 7:15 PM and 8pm listed on their reservation list, and when we book for 8pm no one calls to let us know that they close at 8pm so we have to find out when we get there. My question is why have reservations going to 8pm if you close at 8pm? That’s very weird.

As always, a fine visit. Chicken Marsala, petite filet, and crab stuff flounder all excellent! Peanut butter pie for desert. Service provided by our server Michael was great. A place I continually find to be one of the best.

We Waited over 75 minutes for our food that was served at varied degrees of cold. Must have been sitting on counter too long. Veal was overcooked and butter did not melt on our baked potatoes. Poor quality for our disappointing mother’s day meal. My husband paid over $400 for a party of 7. Not worth the wait or price.

as always excellent food and service, since it was mothers day they were very busy and the service was a little slower then usual but still very good. Always enjoy going to powerhouse fun and nice wait staff

Went to the Powerhouse for Mother’s Day. Was sat promptly and were never rushed. Waiter was friendly and personable. Food was very good and portions were generous. Would definitely recommend!!

Overrated in my opinion. Took over 30 minutes from ordering to table. Slow service. Food was a bit pricey. Not really worth it. Ordered the Linguine with Clams. Rather bland needed garlic or more of it. Not flavor. The Irish coffee was disappointing at best. And they should consider offering larger portions of Prime Rib. The portion I ordered was about a half an inch for $42.00. Ouch! At most other restaurants, they offer Regular, Queen and King cuts that are thicker and cost about the same. If I do decide to return, maybe I’ll order something else.

We have been going to Powerhouse Eatery for years. It's the perfect place to celebrate a birthday or anniversary, Mother's Day or just an elegant date night. The service is always very good. Pat was wonderful, very attentive and pleasant to interact with. The food is consistently cooked very well. The menu has so many choices and the specials are creative. This is not a cheap local eats kind of place so be ready to spend for the occasion. You won't want to miss the dessert so save room. We will be back, this is one of our favorite places to dine at.

Food was good but it took FOREVER for our entrees to be served. Well over an hour. Our poor waitress kept apologizing and checking on the order. It’s a shame because the place had a very nice atmosphere but we probably won’t dine again.

Fantastic service and hospitality. We arrived on our wedding night and were immediately taken to a corner booth and given champagne. Our appetizer was even upgraded from just a shrimp cocktail to an entire seafood tower! Great job, and thank you!

Overall quite delightful. We were fortunate to have Patty as our server. I had seen her name mentioned in several other reviews of this restaurant and I complimented her on how often she was cited. The service was great. Very good drink selections, and the appetizers were well done and timely. I was surprised at the high quality of the house variety of wine. Entrees were made to our specifications and we did not have an inordinate wait time. The dessert was sublime. We did not think we could eat anymore (couldn't finish our main meal as the portions are abundant), but they were so lovely and delicious we could not resist. All in all, a great place for a special occasion. Pricey, not really. But you definitely get what you pay for. Great food, great ambiance, great service.

From start to finish it was wonderful. Great atmosphere, the people working there are Aces! Great menu at good prices. My only complaint was it took forever for drinks and food to come out - and it was not the waiter. I can’t wait to go back.

We have been to this restaurant multiple times In fact it is our “go to” place- prices are not exorbitant , steak is good and service is good. Many times we have had to wait a long time for our food which does not make us happy, but that is life in the Poconos!! Our dinner here with friends on Saturday night was outstanding! To start our wait staff person Toni was amazing - very friendly, funny, and brought us our drinks right away. Our appetizers and entrees were also brought out in a perfect amount of time. (She told us she has a killer glare that makes the kitchen staff move quickly!) Everyone enjoyed their food and the evening was great! Next time I come here I’m asking for Toni’s table!

Two couples celebrating our wedding anniversaries - we were greeted by our server with champagne to celebrate. Service was excellent, the food was amazing. The filet is a winner, so was the crab & lobster as gratin.

Great place to eat for a romantic dinner. Something different other than the normal eateries around my area. Servers and hostess were very friendly, polite and professional. Great atmosphere and great food. Overall awesome experience

In our online reservation I mentioned the occasion was an anniversary. We were first met with complimentary glasses of champagne. We were midweek and the crowd was moderate in size. Service was very timely. Food was great. All 4 of us left full and satisfied. The lobster Mac was a hit with the kids. Lots of seafood offerings especially around crab and lobster. Will definitely return.

Our waitress Toni really made the experience even better she sat us at a great table was very friendly, gave great advice on dinner options and then took photos of our family for us after the meal. The food was delicious and came out fast.

My husband ordered the veal milanese and it was overcooked and very dry He couldn’t even cut it with the knife Our waiter was fantastic and we didn’t want to complain to him because they were backed up and very busy All our other entrees were great We were 6 people and that meal was our only disappointment
