According to popular belief, an early recording of "Raising Hell" was done on the Black Sabbath "Dehumanizer" demos.

However, Tony Martin clarifies this in an interview given on bravewords.com on January 23, 2006; where he literally says: "...Actually, I need to make a slight correction there. 'Raising Hell' was never a Black Sabbath song. It was being put together at the time of the COZY POWELL'S HAMMER band so the demo you have is me on guitar, Neil on bass, Geoff on keyboards and Cozy on the drums. The other song, 'Wings Of Thunder', which we didn't use in the end, was a Black Sabbath song."

The drum track used on "Raising Hell" was played by Cozy Powell at some point before his death in 1998.

In December 2004, Tony Martin on his (now deleted) website revealed the song titles for this album, including one called "Wings of Thunder" which would feature a drum track by Cozy Powell. However, it was never included. Later, Tony Martin in an interview in 2006 revealed that this song was originally composed during his time in Black Sabbath, and in 2019 through his Facebook profile he mentioned this song again, saying that it was made during the sessions for the album "Tyr" (1990), and there is also an alternative version of it called "No Time to Die".

In February 2022, the YouTube channel called Geoff Nicholls Archive uploaded a demo composed by Geoff called "Lost in Time", which had been made during the period of the "Scream" album.
