There's nothing like spending a day out with your kids doing something that you know will create a memory.
For Chris this is definitely one of those days.
Sure taking your son fishing is a cute little bonding experience, but throw in some hectic wind and rain and it's a day neither of them will be forgetting anytime soon.
"Rain, hail or shine," the star posted on Instagram alongside videos and photos of their outing.
"Yewww," he cheered in the video as his son reeled the catch onto the beach.
"It's not even raining brah," he laughed as the wind howled behind them.
While the day started out well enough, the rain sure kicked in, but it didn't deter the pair from celebrating the catch of a flathead!
It's no secret that Chris is into the extremes and it looks like his daughter might just be following in his footsteps.
In October 2023 the pair jetted off to Iceland and spend time scaling a glacier, an experience we're sure neither of them will ever forget.
"A little Icelandic adventure with my girl ❤️," he wrote alongside images from their bucket list climb on Instagram.
"This looks so FUN!! Such a cool [no pun intended] dad moment. 👏 Cheers to awesome adventure dad's," commented one follower.
Chris Hemsworth and his family are escaping the Australian winter and soaking up the sunshine in Spain.
The dad-of-three has shared a series of photos to Instagram documenting a memorable boat trip alongside his kids and wife Elsa Pataky.
In one of the pics, he and his son are pulling silly faces as they prepare for a snorkel in the crisp blue water that surrounds them.
"A little fun in the sun in Spain #familyvacay," the dad captioned the post.
Hemsworth and Pataky appeared to be having a ball during their Spanish getaway.
It seems the family were granted a fabulous summer day with endless blue skies to enjoy a run around on the beach after their boat trip.
The family are away in Europe taking a break following Hemsworth's busy world tour throughout June promoting the release of Extraction 2 on Netflix.
While on shore, the dad also took a moment to snap a photo posing with his twin sons, Sasha and Tristan, nine.
Just last week they joined Hemsworth's parents in Mykonos to celebrate his dad Craig's birthday.
The proud son posted a video of the wild celebrations in a restaurant with a sweet message.
"Happy birthday to my dad, the greatest man I know! My hero, my mentor, my inspiration. Love ya dad!"
Nothing says best birthday ever than someone's face ending up in a cake.
Proving that they must be among the most fun parents of all time, Hemsworth and Pataky ensured twins Tristan and Sasha had a very memorable eighth birthday.
Posting the snap to Instagram, Hemsworth wrote:
"Happy eighth birthday to my two little men! Only one way to eat cake in this house and that's to have mum slam your head into it face first!!"
"'Hey mum I don't like chocolate cake I prefer vanilla'. 'Oh really son, what about now'?"
His fans loved the pic.
"Such a dad look," said one, referring to the actor's stance looking on at the hijinks.
"Proud dad moment," said another.
Others were baffled by the fact his twins are, in fact, turning nine not eight.
Dad joke, perhaps?
The Aussie actor shared an impressive video of him and one of his twin sons skateboarding last December.
"Surf went flat, no problem, the boys found some palm tree barrels and spent the day getting shacked," Hemsworth captioned the clip.
Hemsworth showed off his superhero physique in the bath with two of his kids in a recent Instagram post.
"Kids wanted to go on a boat trip. This is the best we could do. They might have been slightly disappointed," he joked.
"How do I get on this boat trip?" joked one fan.
Getting three kids to pose for a photo is never an easy feat.
Elsa Pataky's relatable – and hilarious – family photo fail has us all nodding along.
"Super proud dad moment watching my kids at their first jiu–jitsu tournament," wrote Hemsworth.
"Big shout out to coach @thalisonvsoares for his amazing leadership and support with all his students."
The Thor actor took India (then five) on a cute daddy–daughter outing to catch the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games.
The pair took in some of the swimming events and India apparently even got to meet some of the swimmers.

Proving he doesn't take himself too seriously, Hemsworth was happy to joke around making bubble beards at bath time.
Pataky shared a selfie with daughter India while on holiday in April 2022.
The actress and her kids were all kinds of adorable for Halloween in 2018.
Take your kid to work day looks a little different when you're a Hollywood A-lister.
Thor took one of the twins on a tour of the set in their very own superhero costume, and even took time out to teach them some sparring.
"Holding my little man's hand and asking him the age old question: 'What do you want to be when you grow up?'. 'Dad I wanna be Superman'. Lucky I have two other kids," he joked when sharing these sweet snaps.
Wrong outfit choice, boys!
Every kid thinks their dad is a hero, but we're guessing these two have a few extra reasons to believe it.
The actor shared this gorgeous throwback of his boys as toddlers last year.
"If you're asking if they're allowed to wear any other superhero outfits besides Thor the answer is no," he joked.
