Warrior: We Finally Have an Update on the Long-Delayed Season 3
Fans of the martial arts drama Warrior are getting their patience rewarded: Production on Season 3 has begun at last, as confirmed by HBO Max on Wednesday.
The update comes 15 months after Warrior was renewed for Season 3, and 19 months (!) since its sophomore finale aired. (The show previously aired its first two seasons on Cinemax, but relocated to HBO Max after Cinemax ceased production on original programming.)
Based on the writings of martial arts legend Bruce Lee, Warrior takes place during the brutal Tong Wars of San Francisco’s Chinatown in the late 19th century. Returning cast members include Andrew Koji as Ah Sahm, Olivia Cheng as Ah Toy, Jason Tobin as Young Jun, Dianne Doan as Mai Ling, Kieran Bew as Bill O’Hara, Dean Jagger as Dylan Leary, Tom Weston-Jones as Richard Lee, Hoon Lee as Wang Chao, Joe Taslim as Li Yong, Langley Kirkwood as Walter Buckley, Perry Yung as Father Jun, Chen Tang as Hong, Miranda Raison as Nellie Davenport and Dustin Nguyen as Zing.
Additionally, Warrior has cast Mark Dacascos (Hawaii Five-0) and Chelsea Muirhead (Canada’s Slo Pitch) as new series regulars for Season 3. Dacascos will play Kong Pak, the former leader of a newly absorbed, Long Zii-affiliated tong and Li Yong’s old friend and mentor, while Muirhead will play Yan Mi, the unassuming but shrewd daughter of a local print shop maker based in Chinatown.
Season 3, spanning 10 episodes, is slated to make its HBO Max debut in 2023.

Yep! The first two seasons landed on HBO Max on January 1, 2021.
Don’t tell Discovery Media they own this show until it’s completed production.

Not at all familiar with this as I never had Cinemax. But if seasons 1 and 2 are on Hbomax, I will check it out.
P, You will not regret it. This show has been one of the best shows in a long, long time. Soooooooo UNDERRATED! Not that it matters, but just to tell you a bit of how much I love this show. I am Hispanic AMERICAN, and I made a great friend of mine, who is Philipino AMERICAN, watch this show, and now we constantly call each other Onion Brothers. If you did watch this series, then you will know what that means.
I just got done binge watching the show, It was a great show, was upset how it ended thats why I came here to find out if there was a season three, Im a happy camper now. Cant wait.
I hope Joanna Vanderham (Penny) and Celine Buckens (Sophie) are back too. Gutted if they aren’t!
Been waiting for this news holding my breath😥. Me love ..long time, my favorite series on cable, even better than “Max’s” Banshee! In my opinion of course. Fair but, true.

I am so happy that Warrior Series will continue, I felt that it was the best action series with plot twists on TV. I have watched the first 2 seasons three times, beginning to end. I find the Warrior Series, a breath of fresh air compared to existing TV series. I am looking forward to the third season.

I have been waiting and waiting for The Warriors season 3!!! Didn’t look like it was going to happen but it is happening YAY!!! I love this show, the actors I could list dang near everybody on the show as characters I like watching AND I’m glad it’s going to HBOMAX!!

It’s really about a immigration story even applies to today on San Francisco and Sonoma valley. Many of these characters that play in the series actually existed in 1800s in San Francisco and what the Chinese community and Irish community was going through. I highly recommend you watch it and watch the actors talk about each episode gives you so much clarity a lot of is based historically and what the Chinese community was going through and the Irish. The late 1800s excellent cast It was on Cinemax and HBO-MAX season 3 was picked up and should be released the men have of spring 2023.Warrior is a TV series’. I suggest that you catch up with season 1 and 2 on HBO-MAX listen to the actors and directors writers stunt coordinators all tell the storyline and the Historical adventure of Warrior 🥋 family made by excellent actor’s and Writer’s, directors and differently stunt coordinators.
Highly Recommend you watch it now season 1 and 2 HBO-MAX season 3 will be released soon spring 🌼 in 2023
