I can't wait for the Crappens live show in Dublin next weekend but Orange County is actually the only Housewives franchise I've never even watched a single episode of. I have seen Tamra and Vicki on UGT2 but that's it. Now, I could watch Ben and Ronnie recap the news and I'd be pretty happy but I'd like to understand what is going on as much as possible to enjoy the show.
They will be recapping Season 11 Episode 15 Shamrocks and Shockwaves. I'm going to watch the episode this week before I go, but could any kind OC fan give me some brief context/backstory to this season, and what the general cast dynamic is - friends/allies/frenemies/enemies etc? I will Google the cast and plotlines anyway but I figured no one knows the minutiae of HW like you fine Crappeners!

Omg the Ireland trip is off the rocker insane. They went to cell phone recording because so much drama went on while the crew was sleeping. I made sure we went to Powerscourt Gardens during our Ireland trip because I wanted to eat in the restaurant where they kept trying to get Kelly drunk. Highlight of my trip! Lol not really but the Gardens are gorgeous and the whiskey tasting at the on site distillery was great. They also have the background of how the grounds were from the O'Toole family (one of the cast members was a descendant and kept asking random people on the street if they were O'Tooles). Oh I need my husband to take a nap so I can rewatch these!!
We are going back in August (my in laws live in Kinsale) and I'm bummed we are flying into Shannon and not Dublin, but it looks like the west coast is stunning!

The west is absolutely stunning, I’d argue it’s the best of the country (but am biased!). Kinsale is a beautiful little town with lots of nice food spots as mentioned - enjoy your trip :)

I’ve heard about the OC Ireland trip and it does sound gas - apparently they get kicked out of Brown Thomas?! The only thing is one of the cast asking if random people are an O’Toole (or whatever surname) would honestly drive me nuts so I’ve avoided the episode for that reason haha.
As you say, B&R could recap the six one and it would be amazing, so will take it and gladly watch the episode this week!

Ben and Ronnie have been announcing which franchise/episode they'll be recapping in each city of the European tour at the start of every podcast ep for the last few weeks. London will be RHOBH Amsterdam, which I have actually seen a few times. But I kind of like the idea of them doing an Irish-set episode in Ireland, even if I don't know the show. Time to do my OC homework!
