Our names are Laura Jean & Victoria and we are seeking help to raise funds for our Cuban family; Vocal en Serio to participate in a music-cultural exchange in Mexico!
Vocal en Serio, a dynamic and passionate a cappella group hailing from the vibrant streets of Holguin, Cuba! Comprised of talented vocalists who share a deep love for music. With a blend of rich harmonies, infectious rhythms, and authentic Cuban flair, Vocal en Serio is capturing hearts and captivating audiences with their unique sound.
Vocal en Serio has the prestigious honour of being invited to participate in a music-cultural exchange to Mexico, where they will have the chance to share their music, and talents with audiences in Mexico. This exchange is not only a dream come true for them but also an incredible opportunity to promote cultural understanding and appreciation.
However, organizing such an endeavor comes with its challenges, particularly in terms of funding. That’s why we are reaching out to you today to ask for your support. Your contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference in helping us cover travel expenses, accommodation and food.
Together, we can create unforgettable experiences and build bridges between communities through the universal language of music.
Vocal en Serio isn’t just a music group to us, they are our family. Laura Jean has known them since 2005 and has watched them grow into the perfectionists they are in sharing their gift of music. We’ve laughed together, cried together, and grown together, forming bonds that transcend the stage and resonate deep within our hearts. But beyond the music, Vocal en Serio is a source of strength, belonging, and community for every one of us. In a world that can often feel chaotic and uncertain, our lads create a place of sanctuary.

Our goal is whatever funds we’re able to generate, but it does cost $400USD each person (there is 6 of them). If we’re able to make this dream a reality for them, they will leave on July 29th for 7 days.
