Eleanor Roosevelt High School Reviews
Rating 3.86 out of 5 168 reviews
It was a very meh experience. Nothing about it was particularly amazing, but likewise, nothing was particularly bad. The school culture when I attended was probably the worst part. At the time, it was only open to District 2 students, so the student body was almost entirely rich, white, upper-east side residents, and the majority of those were female, too. As a result, the culture was very "clique-y" and privledged.
Although this is a primarily white institution, over the years Eleanor Roosevelt has progressed and become more diverse, making sure that students of color feel accepted into the community. The school has a bunch of climbs but little school spirit but mostly because students don't feel like getting involved because they are too stressed from the work which, by the way, teachers don't have leniency for. The college readiness for this school is amazing but students can easily get stressed from the work load. Overall I would rate Eleanor Roosevelt a 4.
A first rate education with excellent communication from teachers and administrators. I’m grateful that my son was lucky enough to get into this very special school.
