Marilyn Manson seems to have signed new record deal with Nuclear Blast amidst abuse allegations

It comes after he shared a snippet of a new music video

Marilyn Manson appears to have signed a new record deal with independent metal record label Nuclear Blast.

It comes after Manson shared a snippet of a new music video which shows the singer holding an apple and what appears to be a perfume bottle.

Towards the end of the heavy track, he can be heard whispering: “Keep sleeping, I’ll make you dream of me.” It is his first music since his 2020 album ‘We Are Chaos’.

According to Rolling Stone, a deal has been confirmed but it is unclear whether its for a new single or album.

It comes after a raft of sexual abuse allegations were levelled against him in February 2021, including by his ex-fiancee Evan Rachel Wood, who made allegations of rape, torture, and threats. Separate claims of abuse from more than 12 women have also been made.

Numerous lawsuits have ensued since, with Manson consistently denying the allegations.

Other accusers include Game of Thrones actress and former girlfriend Esme Bianco and ex-girlfriend Ashley Morgan Smithline. The lawsuit filed by Smithline has since been dismissed, while Manson denied Bianco’s claims as “meritless” and settled with her in January 2023.

He was also accused by someone only known as Jane Doe in September 2023 – however, her case was settled a week ahead of going on trial.

Elsewhere last December, his former assistant Ashley Walters won a critical appeal that revived her case which was originally dismissed in 2022. He is set to face a lawsuit filed by Walters in a Los Angeles court next month.

Meanwhile, Manson is set to support Five Finger Death Punch on a run of dates across North America in August and September.

The band, The Funeral Portrait, who will open for Manson on three forthcoming shows, also received a backlash over the gigs. They responded before deleting their comments on the matter.
