My wife and me took a cruise from Miami in February 2023 and wanted to spend a few days in the area before going out to sea. I will start to say that prices for miami area are a shocker. To stay in the miami city area, will run you bout $400+ a night to be close to everything.

I did my research and found this hampton inn to be the best choice. The hotel has not been open even a year yet so everything is somewhat brand new. Yes, location wise it is a bit out of the miami area but considering that the average price is around $200 a night, it's a much better choice. The area around the hotel is still being developed and it is located near the Miami executive Airport area. There is plenty of food and shopping options near by so you don't have to go all the way back to the city.

Hotel had a lot of iptuons like fitness and outdoor pool. Did not hear anything from the airport so it is nice and quite. Did not use them but did see they had an electric car charging station on premises. There was also the free breakfast in the mornings l Iike a lot of the Hilton family hotels do. The only thing I wish it had was a microwave in the room but other upgrade rooms might have them.

The only issue we had at the hotel which I still find strange is the mini fridge decided to not freeze anymore. I told front desk and about an hour or so later, they brought a new one that works.

If your looking for a place to stay before a cruise, I recommend this location. You will save a lot over downtown miami.

At check in I was blown away by Emil. I accidentally booked the wrong room and he immediately helped me by booking the right room. The hotel was running at high capacity and he did wonders. He acknowledged my diamond member and told me about the diamond dust which I never knew existed before. Also James and Val was super sweet!!! We held great conversations and laughters. We stayed for my sister wedding and they made are stayed more enjoyable. Genuine smiles and great hospitality!! The hotel is beautiful, our suites was spacious and cleaned. I would most definitely be back if I’m ever in the area again. Emil, James and Val (my front desk friends) From check in to check out, thank you for just being you!! Your new Bahamas friend!!

I travel regularly to that area for work. ( Miami Executive Airport-Zoo...)
To be clear this is not a touristic area but people still have to stay around.

My experience in the last few years has been with competing hotels and I was less than satisfied with the experience, it was functional at best.

After reading other reviews, I decided to give the Hampton Inn a try.
My experience overall was outstanding for the hotel category and goals.
The check in was a breathe I had booked one of the suite.
The hotel feels and is probably new-ish. Smells great in the lobby, decoration is modern and nice. Front desk attendant was polite and efficient. He recognized my Hilton Gold status.
Room size is great, everything is clean, smells good and the decoration is very pleasant.
Diving into details: sheets, bedding and mattress were comfortable.
Bathroom has a great shower, nice quality towels and branded soap/shampoo.
The night was peaceful with a functioning AC, great black out curtains and no noise to be heard in the hotel.
Everything is well designed: outlets are everywhere, the TV can rotate from the couch to the bed, they have modern TV options...
My only 2 complaints would be: shower water temperature was irregular, which is a common problem in hotels, and the in room coffee is atrocious, as in 99% of hotel that do not have Nespresso. (which you find in higher end hotels.)

Anyhow, I enjoyed my stay and will be back regularly when I have to work in the area !

This hotel is brand new so everything is "just so." The room was bright, spotless - the bedding wonderful and you get a real free breakfast. Shades on windows are room darkening - and they actually work. Room is as pictured on website - two queen beds with sofa bed. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Today's breakfast consisted of: scrambled eggs, pork or turkey sausage, hashbrown patty, oatmeal, waffles with choice of toppings, yougart, brand name cereal boxes, bagels, bread to toast, delicious mini muffins, fresh fruit, etc. Cutlery made of compostable material. Coffee/tea/hot chocolate; iced water with sliced oranges and plain available 24/7.

As Diamond members, we have expectations of the Hilton Brand. This hotel does not disappoint, and is an excellent example of the Hampton Inn brand.

Neat, clean, outstanding front desk staff, great location, plenty of parking, what’s not to like.

Certainly stay here if the timing and location is good for you.

The only puzzlement was the coffee cups. The coffee cups urged you to book Wyndham reservations and join the Wyndham loyalty program. Beats me 🤷‍♂️

Wonderful. Excellent. Everything except for luggage carts. Non-existent. None when we arrived and none when we left. Whatever Hilton's policy may be regarding luggage carts MUST be revised as people hoarded the carts OVERNIGHT. We are senior citizens and the carts would have saved us several trips to the room to bring down our possessions. Super breakfast in a very clean environment.

Nice “newer “ hotel. Friendly receptionist’s on both shifts. In fact was able to negotiate a good rate on a return trip to stay after our trip to the keys. Appreciate when people are true to their word
Kitchen help did a great job! They were busy wiping tables and stocking food for morning breakfast
Also the gentleman in the lobby did a great job keeping it clean.
We stayed here to visit the Everglades. Since we were avoiding tolls it took us a bit to get there but not unreasonable and a nice clean hotel
Could use some lotion tho

I stayed here last year and while it was enjoyable then, my stay this time was even better. We stayed on the ground floor (which we're not used to doing) and it was not nearly as noisy as we thought it might be. I think it helps that the property is already in a quiet and relatively beautiful area off the beaten path, at least for now. The staff were very attentive and the service overall was excellent.
Special thanks to the front desk staff, particularly Valeska, who so helpfully received my Amazon packages (you all are just the best!!).
The hotel is not far from places like Walgreens, CVS, Publix, Wendy's Walmart and Starbucks. All are within a 5 - 15 minute drive either along SW 137 Ave. or on SW 152 Ave., depending on traffic of course.

This is a clean and nice place which offers great value for a reasonable price. The location in the South of Miami is a convenient starting point for tours into the Everglades. The rooms, facilities, including a gym with modern equipment, a simple but quite enjoyable breakfast, and very helpful and friendly staff added to an overall excellent experience.

Pluses- very clean and fairly new build. Offers the latest Hampton design layout with bigger walk in shower for king room. Enjoyed addition of mouthwash toiletry and bar soap plus body gel. No lotion but I have plenty already. Very large breakfast area, and well stocked and had more then one person cleaning. Also large water (fruit infused and plain) kept stocked in lobby 24 hrs in addition to tea and coffee. Acknowledged Hilton status with snacks and/or drinks and had good food recommendations. Fitness facility had latest equipment. Glad to see daily maid service again. Also loved seeing board games provided in lobby and families playing them!

Only minuses was non working elevators. Never saw one work at all and one evening they both were down forcing us and other guests to drag stuff up 5 floors. This hotel is also not in walking distance to anything but car dealerships. Our view was over an empty lot but was convenient to go between Everglades and Biscayne National Parks.
