I know it is a bit late- but am I the only one disappointed in the end? MDCBK started out with a strong, feisty heroine who I though I would love. I never rly liked the MLs- but I though that the MC would make up for it.

Agree. I barely remember most of the story due to my interest in the Webtoon waning after a few years (it basically turned into one of those “filler reads” I would read for the sake of reading). I do recall I liked the season finale before the final season- I honestly saw it as the “ending” for a while, since all the episodes, as you pointed out, were basically smut episodes. Since that’s not really my cup of tea, I ended up reading it even less towards the final episodes of the series.
I wasn’t too surprised to see some parts of the ending- both the couples hanging out, the kids of the couples getting together, ect- the webtoon had a lot of cliches, from what I can remember.
I am kinda disappointed Mei became a housewife as well, as I felt like it undermined a lot of the earlier character growth before. I enjoyed the episodes where she would fight against the bad guys a lot. While it’s not exactly the ending I was hoping for, I thought it was a decent one overall. Not too sudden, which is the one thing I did appreciate about it.
