Question about book search

Hello, amateur astronomers. I am trying to study the subject even further, and needed to seek advice from people who may have more knowledge on this than I do.

I am thinking about ordering the Fundamentals of Astrophysics book by Stan Owocki, and I want to get as much out of studying as possible.

Does this particular book have practice problems I can use? How would you suggest going about studying this book at first? Are there any other cheap astrophysics textbooks with practice problems I can refer to without paying a large sum of cash?
I need some tips and tricks from people ASAP. Thank you! :)

A good way to get textbooks cheap is to try to buy them off students at the end of term. College buyback programs never offer much if anything for used textbooks so if you hit up local universities or try college Craigslists online you could get a good deal.

Do you have a library card?
