- Robin CBurns, OR63 contributionsWe got off the train on a Thursday evening and were walking to our Airbnb when Nece saw us strolling down the sidewalk looking confused and she directed us to the Loft for dinner (which was fabulous!)
Went to church on Sunday and were treated like family. Being far from home we were humbled and grateful. Isn’t this how churches should be?!! Very refreshing. Excellent service too.Written April 13, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Tim LJefferson, GA1,995 contributionsWe parked nearby and happened upon this park. My wife informed me it was redesigned by Ben and Erin Napier, local stars of the Hometown TV production. We visited on a Sunday afternoon and it was clean. Looking at the different murals was not only enjoyable, but refreshing to see the different Scripture verses used in different scenes.Written February 3, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Cynthia B1 contributionCute little town. Not much to do though. Unfortunately we arrived in Sunday and everything is closed. We did find one little cafe that was open and we were the only customers. Mondays are almost the same.
Most restaurants and businesses are closed. The other days of the week, everything closes at 5:00pm. There is literally no night life at all. If you're planning a trip to Laurel, be sure it's Tues - Sat.Written May 14, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
