What happened to this app?

Rant

I downloaded Bumble the other day for the first time in years. And my word, it’s terrible. When did they sell their soul to the devil?

I used up all my swipes in about 5 minutes, meanwhile I have 13 people who “like” me, but I can’t see who they are unless I pay £40 a month? What?!

So 24 hours into this app and I’ve got no chats, and no ability to like anyone and no way of seeing who these 13 people supposedly are.

It seems like they have zero care for unpaid users and just want to try and milk the app for every penny they can by making desperate people pay to see who these mystery people are that like them. Absolutely scandalous.

I deleted the app just now.

$28 a week for premium+ and this is my first time. Whats the best app right now?

A lot of women don’t use tinder though. They’re so many insanely creepy and pervy men that i had to delete my account. And I have been off and on tinder for 10 years.

Tinder seems to be the best, the free version is actually pretty good but the paid version which is only around £80 for 6 months is very reasonable.

If the dumbasses at Bumble had a business brain they’d realise that people don’t usually want to pay for something when the free version is so bad. Business 101 - give people something for free and then offer even more for a few quid. Not, give them a terrible experience and then offer to fix this for a ridiculous fee.

Bumble execs if you’re reading, you’re fucking retarded. Think the CEO was a feminist though so it makes sense.

Think we may have found one of the reasons you didn't get any matches in your first 24 hours. Lol

Lol yeah except I didn’t mention on my profile that I think the Bumble CEO is a Bimbo - I’d save that for date 2

To be fair--why would a company care about the experience of unpaid users? Their goal is to make money.

Because less people are going to become paid users when they are treated to a terrible experience from the off.

Yep, this is the main reason I left it. Just preying on people now

Well, firstly, I’ve not been paid, so I’ve bought nothing. 😂

Jape aside, bumble has gone downhill o’er the years and given that I’ve never used it, just reading how it’s gone for both sides of the fence make me glad that I never did.
