Rumours have been circulating for some time regarding Katie McCabe and Caitlin Foord and the two have sparked chatter once again following a recent trip.
Both football stars play for Arsenal and social media has long been convinced they're more than just teammates, even more so now that Caitlin has posted several sun-soaked snaps from their visit to Rome.
Photos show Katie and Caitlin checking out plenty of historical sites during their holiday and beaming in selfies.
Posting an array of shots, Caitlin wrote 'sick time in Rome' alongside an emoji of hands making a heart shape. However, it was Katie's response of 'amore' followed by a love heart face emoji that got people talking.
Several of the players' fans responded in the comments, with one saying: 'I love that they aren't hiding it anymore and just being themselves! Good for you both.'
Others commented on the speculation surrounding them, saying: 'Tiktok woso fans are gonna have a field day.'
Katie's sister Sharon added, 'Great pics love yous. Enjoy. Mommy misses you,' with love heart eyes and fire emojis.
The pair, until last year, had both been in long-term relationships. Katie had been dating Ruesha Littlejohn for seven years before splitting just before the World Cup.
While Caitlin broke up with Arsenal teammate Lia Walti there is no suggestion that these splits had anything to do with Katie and Caitlin's friendship.
This is the second holiday this year as Katie and Caitlin headed down under where they caught up with two of her former teammates, Sarah Rowe and Clare Shine.
