How can I use these worksheets in my class?

What is included in these worksheets?

What are map skills?

Map skills are the ability to read and navigate using a map. These map skills worksheets can help with logic and allow your class to work on their team-building skills at the same time. The worksheets can be completed individually or in small groups.

During a lesson on map skills, you could have your class create a map of the playground to allow them to follow directional instructions in real life and practise reading the compass and a map grid.

This could create a fun learning environment where your learners can feel at ease. Likewise, lessons on map skills can improve spatial thinking, visual learning, problem-solving and quantitative skills.
