Miles


For Eurowings flights booked via the Eurowings website or the booking channel of a Lufthansa Group airline (Lufthansa, SWISS, Austrian Airlines and Brussels Airlines), you will receive miles based on the flight price: 

  • Miles = flight price x 4 (or x 5 for participants with frequent-flyer status)

Points

You collect Points, Qualifying Points and HON Circle Points on all flights operated by Eurowings. Points and Qualifying Points are earned in the BASIC, SMART and BIZclass fares. HON Circle Points are only credited for flights in the BIZclass fare and the number of Points, Qualifying Points and HON Circle Points collected depends on two criteria: the booked fare and whether it is a continental or intercontinental flight.

  1. * HON Circle Points are only credited for flights in BIZclass fare.
  2. ** A continental flight is a flight segment where the origin and destination are on the same continent. For example, if you fly from Germany to Barcelona, both the origin and destination are in Europe and the flight is counted as a continental flight. Domestic flights are also counted as continental flights. An intercontinental flight is a flight segment where the origin and destination are on different continents. For example, on a flight from Germany to Dubai, the origin and destination are on different continents (Europe and Asia). The flight segment is then counted as an intercontinental flight. Please note: Egypt, Algeria, Libya, Morocco and Tunisia are assigned to the European zone, so that flights from Germany to Tunisia, for example, are counted as continental flights.

Conditions


Award flight bookings, tour operator bookings and ID Travel bookings are generally excluded from earning Miles and Points (Points, Qualifying Points and HON Circle Points). This applies to booking classes such as A, AA, AC, AF, AS, AR, BC, BS, DR, JP, JR, P, U, Z, ZA, among others. The earning of points is based on the fare as shown in the table displayed above. 

You will find the booking class on your booking confirmation. If you forgot to enter your Miles & More number when booking, your Miles and Points may be credited up to 6 months after your flight.

Book 'Fly Smart' flight awards with Eurowings


Eurowings also offers discounted 'Fly Smart' award flights in the SMART and BIZclass fares. Fly Smart flight awards can be purchased as regular flight awards for fewer miles, are only available online and are subject to specific conditions:

  • The booking date must be between two weeks and two days before the desired departure date.

  • For flight awards on intercontinental destinations, the minimum stay is seven days.

  • The following applies to flight awards within the zones of Germany and Europe and for flight awards within any other region: earliest possible return flight is the Sunday after departure.

  • Outbound and return flight must be booked in the same fare (e.g. SMART-SMART).

  • In accordance with the Miles & More Terms and Conditions of Participation, it is not possible to rebook or cancel FlySmart award flights.
