Klobuchar, Lois J. Plymouth MN, passed away on May 7th at the age of 82 at the NC Little Hospice. Throughout her life, Lois was known for her unwavering love for her family, her vibrant spirit, and her joyous outlook on life. Her family is grateful that she approached her battle with Alzheimer's disease with the same zest and positivity that she embraced life. In 1963, Lois married Richard Lura. The couple settled in Chaska where they began to raise their three children; Ann, Dave, and James. Soon after moving to Chaska, Lois lost her husband in the line of duty. She continued to raise her children on her own while working as an OB/GYN nurse. Her nursing profession brought her to different aspects of the profession as an Occupational Health nurse at Nilfisk and Medtronics. After Richard's passing, Lois later married Jim Klobuchar, with whom she developed a love for exploring the world, both close to home and far. They explored Minnesota together and traveled to Switzerland, Nepal, Africa, and Egypt, creating memories. She is survived by her daughter Ann (Ted) Smith; sons Dave (Carrie) Lura and James (Heather) Lura; grandchildren Maddy, Kenzie, Teddy, Sydney, Gabe, Abigail, John and Joe; family members Lyn, Arlet and Eldon. Funeral service will be held Thursday, May 16 at Edina Community Lutheran Church 4113 W 54th Street, Edina MN. Visitation at 10, Service at 11 and Reception at 12. Memorials to the Diabetes Association or NC Hospice in Edina. Lois will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
