Did Dahmer have a cell phone?
Were cell phones and computers common in Milwaukee in the 90s?
No, the only phone he had was the landline phone in his apartment. While mobile phones did exist at the time, they weren't super common in households until the mid to late 90's.
He did make calls. He called up different stores for information and I’m pretty sure he once made a call to a taxidermist(?) on information on how to save the skin of a rabbit (or something similar, my mind has gone blank lol)
Interesting! Pat Kennedy stated in his book that the phone company showed no outgoing calls made from his apartment once investigated.
The trial talks about it, he made a call to a store asking about drums, and later went to the store to buy the blue drum we now saw in his bedroom.
Oh I'm not arguing you're wrong! I remember watching it in the trial but I figured maybe it was when he lived with Catherine. Regardless Pat would get minor details mixed up now and again too so I wouldn't have been surprised either way.
No, just a wall connected phone in his apartment.
However, he did purchase a laptop.
Cellphones were luxury in the 90s...
