In case anyone feels inclined, places that accept clothing donations are always desperate for underwear and socks. They can only accept those items when they remain packaged, so something like this would be awesome if you can order a few more pairs and donate them.

Polyamide is pretty much nylon. Nylon, generally, since it's an extruded filament, tends to have fewer microplastic particles, and also doesn't deliver the same static charge as something like polyester, so it's better for the fellas down there (a lot of the research on synthetics and underwear was done with polyester). Cotton is good for some things, but it's also a terrible fabric sometimes. If, for example, you sweat a lot or you're in warmer environments, it keeps moisture down there, which can lead to some chaffing or discomfort. Cotton also loses it's shape more quickly, and the legs of boxer briefs can bag out throughout the day.
