R&B artist Erykah Badu will be perfroming May 28, 2010 at the Kanawha Plaza.
Erykah Badu has embarked on one of the more ambitious projects in recent R&B history with her new album New AmErykah.New Amerykah is an esoteric concept album that features social commentary and impersonal lyrical themes of poverty, urban violence, complacency, and cultural identity. It exhibits musical styles such as funk, soul, jazz, electronica, and hip hop. She will be perfoming live, her new hit single Window Seat.

It’s about that time of the year again with John Marketing kicking off its most popular event Friday's at Sunset live. Johnson Marketing will be conducting a live summer concert with music from your favorite artists.
Some of the past artists have included: Erykah Badu, Chuck Brown, Natalie Cole, Raheem DeVaughn, Chrisette Michele, Ryan Leslie and Common to just name a few.
R&B artist Ryan Leslie will start off the summer series followed by other R&B, Hip Hop, Soul and Go-Go artist. Johnson Marketing continues to find away to bring the Richmond Community together with the smoothest tunes.
