Oh I assume you arenāt familiarized with him. The guy on the left is a YouTuber called MatPat (Matthew Patrick). He does YouTube theories about different games and movies on his channels The Game Theorists and The Film Theorists. In all of his videos he uses this picture of his as his ācharacterā and only does some tweaks to the photo to make it funnier and stuff. It looks weird because we are only used to seeing it in his videos and never in the actual photo

Well, the image has always been used as a humorous stand-in in his videos. Over the years, we've become used to seeing it in it's unrealistic positions, so seeing it in its original, it looks kinda weird

Probably a good thing. Most people find him obnoxious. He's basically a geeky musical theatre kid that grew up to be a video game conspiracy theorist. He also has 2 other side channels called Film Theory and Food Theory. Some of his food theory videos are interesting bc they actually teach you the science behind how some foods are made but the vast majority of them are pretty outlandish/borderline frustrating
Isn't that his whole shtick though? To do a supposed deep dive into a seemingly innocuous subject, and then end up going completely overboard with it? That's why it's theory and not "here's exactly why I'm right about everything ever"
