Hawker Beechcraft’s Disclosure Statement – filed in connection with its Joint Plan of Reorganisation – has been approved by a US bankruptcy court.

Hawker Beechcraft’s Disclosure Statement – filed in connection with its Joint Plan of Reorganisation – has been approved by a US bankruptcy court.

This enables the company to seek approval of the reorganisation from its creditors.

As part of its reorganisation the business plans to rename itself Beechcraft Corporation and focus on its turboprop, piston, special mission and trainer/attack aircraft, and its parts, maintenance, repairs and refurbishment businesses.

The voting process will be completed by 22 January, and Hawker Beechcraft will seek approval from the court to exit bankruptcy on 31 January.
