Synopsis
Dae and Kitty are reunited as she takes a trip abroad
If there’s one thing Kitty Covey doesn’t need any help with, it's making decisions. The headstrong young woman knows what she wants and how to get it. In this first season of XO, Kitty she packs her bags and moves across the world for love. Once reunited with her boyfriend Dae, the teenager faces a series of ups and downs that will challenge her resolve and make her question if she might have made the wrong choice. With a mixture of laughter and tears, this show explores the adventure of love and finding a new home.

Netflix brings Anna Cathcart back as Kitty Covey in this original spin-off
XO, Kitty Season 1 is an upcoming romantic comedy series created by Jenny Han and produced by Netflix. The series is a spinoff of Netflix’s 2018 original film, To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before. Jenny Han also wrote the book that inspired the original film, which was released in 2014 as the first book in a trilogy. This TV show marks the first time in Netflix history that sees an original series inspired by an original Netflix film.
XO, Kitty tells the story of Katherine Covey – known to all except her enemies as Kitty – on her immigration journey to South Korea. The distance between her and Dae was too much for Kitty to bear, and she decides to immerse herself in a different culture in order to close the gap. Kitty seems to have all the answers when it comes to love but her journey to South Korea and closing the distance between herself and Dae might make her question if she was ready for such a big move.
Anna Cathcart reprises her role as Kitty Covey, who played Lara Jean’s younger sister in To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before. Joining her are Choi Min-young as Dae, Anthony Keyvan as Q, Yunjin Kim as Jina, and Michael K. Lee as Professor Lee. XO, Kitty Season 1 was released on May 18th, 2023 on Netflix.
