Visited as part of a tour group for a lunch stop. We enjoyed just having a wander around to see how different it was to a Shopping Mall in UK.
No Marks & Spencer !!
Lots of USA brands with their own shops rather than a concession in a UK store. Good to see larger ranges of their items.
Macy's ,Dillards , Sears were the three large department store...….we did laugh to ourselves when a very polite young gentleman tried to sell us a washing machine !! We explained that the ones in UK are very different to USA and that was the only reason we stopped to look at them ……
Bright ,light interior ....very clean & tidy. An enjoyable hour or so.

Even though this mega mall’s structure is quite nice with multilevelled brand name stores, there are opportunities ties for improvement. There are anchor stores and lots of perimeter parking. Unfortunately, there are a number of off-brand stores that negatively impact the character and quality of .the shopping experience. Examples: a jewelry store advertising teeth “covers’” with inlaid diamonds and several no name or off brand family clothing stores .
Additionally the closing hours for stores are conflicting and ambiguous, which is further complicated by inaccessible exit doors and a poor or absent lighting In the parking lots.
The recommended time to visit is during the day light hours . Fortunately there are other shopping options nearby.

Half of the stores are closing. It’s pretty sad. Spent a few hours looking for a dress and never found one. All of the good clothing stores from the past were already closed.

The Mall of Louisiana is a good place to visit some department stores and smaller shops. There are pretzel shops, which are great, and some other places to eat upstairs in the food court. There are also shops outside the main building in the strip. My only issue is that it’s always HOT inside the building and stores.

This is a very large mall that is very vibrant around Christmas time. The mall has several anchors and is two stories. It is a classic mall that appears to be surviving well, and it is the only mall remaining in Baton Rouge.

The mall was less than 10 minutes from our hotel, and my wife loves visiting malls in our travels.
Whilst this mall did not have any real high end designer boutiques, it would be one of the nicest to stroll through being very clean, uncongested with a great range of from mid price stores. We did find some Vintage Louis Vuitton Bags and accessories at Dilliards.
Actually, both the Dilliards and Macy's stores are huge with quite upmarket feel and layouts. Service was very good in these two mall stores as there were plenty of customer traffic and we were greeted and welcomed in most of the other stores we visited.
The food court offering however was more me-too.
There were also a few popular stores outside the main mall, the wide pathway, fountain, seating and trees were very pleasant after strolling through the mall.

This mall has a little something for everyone. The food court is good too with plenty of options. It was very clean too.

The mall is centrally located and very easily accessible from the interstate. This mall has a great selection of stores for every member of the family. Early morning, weekday is the best time to go! It is super clean, and even the RESTROOMS ARE SPOTLESS! Children never tire of the carousel but you might because the food court is very hot in the summer. I wish there were a few more areas throughout the mall to sit and I wish there were more or better selections of food. Otherwise, love it.
