Greensboro hosted the 2024 N.C. Transportation Summit drawing more than 1,200 attendees from all over the world, with more than 100 sponsors and exhibitors May 21-22. The summit provided a platform for discussions ranging from safety and funding to innovation, all aimed at addressing North Carolina’s evolving population and transportation needs.

The College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences (CAHSS) at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University recently hosted its 2024 End-of-the-Year Awards Celebration, recognizing the efforts of students and faculty. Six students were honored as seniors of the year and four faculty members were honored for their outstanding achievements in teaching, research, service and leadership.

Researchers at the Joint School of Nanoscience and Nanoengineering (JSNN), led by Kristen Dellinger, Ph.D., are making significant strides in the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases. Their groundbreaking research has received a grant of $369,024 over two years from NCInnovation as part of its inaugural round of research funding, which totaled $5.2 million across eight projects.
