Watched thanks to Paul & Katie's appearance on Schmoes Know! :D
This is a solid and timeless premise: you find the right person at the wrong time. This Isn't Funny executes the idea in a funny and emotionally involving way. However, I think it could've been a whole lot funnier and a whole life more emotionally connecting. The end result doesn't pack a lot of laughs in, nor dramatic weight.
What gets the movie to be enjoyable is the great performance by Katie Page. My hopes is this movie catapults her into more roles, because the kid's got talent. She handles emotional scenes and funny scenes very well. She is simultaneously cute and sharp as a dagger. She would work well…
This wasn't funny.

My friends made this so I'm openly using this review to pad their stats. It's fine if YOU don't like it, but I'm begging you, express it in a way other than just saying the title is true, or whatever. You must be mean in a more creative fashion, people are way too proud of themselves while making a joke everyone can see coming a mile away.
Is it fair to say to call this movie: A Less Funny Obvious Child. But, I really like Katie Page and I hope she's in more things in the future.
