The Holiday Inn Express & Suites Anaheim Resort Area earns high marks for its spotless rooms and commendable service, with staff members who consistently go above and beyond, especially at breakfast. A modern and clean atmosphere is celebrated by guests, as is the hotel's prime location near Disneyland. However, while the rooms are spacious and well-equipped, some guests have noted issues with noise from the nearby highway. Additionally, the value is occasionally questioned due to unexpected charges such as valet parking.

Stayed at the hotel during our trip to Disneyland and will definitely be back. It has all the comforts needed for an easy and enjoyable vacation.

It was a fantastic location and only a 10 minute walk to the park entrance. Very easy to get in and out of the parks and even quick to go back to for a mid-afternoon break.

The rooms are spacious and offer a lot of counter space for bags, backpacks, and all the trinkets you’ll pick up along the way. The refrigerator, microwave and shelf storage helped keep all our snacks easily tucked away to keep us organized and allowed us to bring our own food vs spending so much eating out.

They also have a better-than-standard hot breakfast selection to fuel the family before a long day.

The charge for parking is nominal compared to other hotels in the area and parking rates at Disneyland, and if you’re driving, it’s worth keeping your car at the hotel and walking so you don’t have to battle the parking shuttles at the end of your days.

The hotel is a 10 minutes walk from the parks and the rooms are spacious easily fitting 4 persons if needes. Breakfast has a big variety and the dining area is big enough to cope with the rush of people having their Pre-Disney breakfast. You can see the space mountain ride from the hotel It's unfortunate that they charge for parking.

We spent a week at this Holiday Inn Express. It was a easy 10 minute walk to the Disneyland entrance and other area restaurants. Valet service and parking for only $25 a day is very inexpensive and convenient. The house keepers were so very amazing. They cleaned our room and even decorated it all cute with kids toys and what not that we had purchased from Disney. The front desk was quite cordial and responsive to our every need.
If I am going to rave so much about this Hotel I feel it only fair to point out something that offended me and bothered me as well. The Breakfast kitchen people... please keep your comments even said in Spanish to yourselves and not in front of guests. I don't look like it but I understand and speak Spanish quite well. Making mockery of the guests and how they are messy pigs is an insult and just put a real sour taste in my mouth. Thankful for this hotel that every other aspect was stellar or this would be a much different review.

I would like to say this was better than “poor” but it really wasn’t. We arrived late in the evening for check-in, so maybe our room was the last available. It was a crappy room to be sure. One plus is that it was clean. Minuses include the shower faucet being broken - it didn’t stay at the temperature you set it at. Instead it swung around to scorching hot. Or, it fell off completely. Also, the bathroom drain stopper was inoperable, so you couldn’t take a bath. The room decor was really blah and looked old. The walls were paper thin. I’m sure the neighbors enjoyed hearing us as much as we enjoyed hearing them. Our room faced the parking lot too, so that every car coming and going after dark shone their lights into our room. We didn’t complain to management or ask for a different room because I was traveling with my boyfriend who isn’t a complainer; had it just been me, I would have asked for a different room. But maybe other rooms were even worse! Who knows.

Hi RachelKJ1975, Our goal is to invite joy and make sure that everything works well. I am sorry you felt you did not receive a good value for your stay due to the less than appealing room cleanliness and general upkeep of the bathroom. Your review is much appreciated and I have shared this with the management for quality improvements on the level of service delivered by the housekeeping and maintenance team. Despite what happened, I hope you would give us another chance to provide you a better experience should you return to the area. Thank you again for your feedback. Best, Zel N. Checked in around 3:30 pm. Joe at the front desk got my family and I checked in fairly quickly. Since there were no luggage racks available, Jocelyn, the other front desk person, offered to help us unload. Parking is valet only but the attendants are very quick about retrieving your vehicle. I even forgot my cell phone after my car was parked and the attendant ran and got it for me. Our room was spacious and clean. Housekeeping was supposed to be every other day but surprisingly we found our room serviced the next day. The breakfast workers also did a wonderful job. Yadwa and Ofelia did a great job keeping the food trays stocked with hot food and the floors and countertops spotless! All done with a smile! Overall a great stay and very good value for money.

This property has a great location for Disneyland but it is ruined by the poorly insulated single pan windows the noise coming from the highway is ridiculous I live in Chicago and have been to NYC hotels around time square and have had better sleep. If you have anyone in your group with problems falling sleeping do not book this place. My poor sister in law did not sleep well for our two night stay and we stayed in the parks 15 hours per day. My room had a white noise machine in they know your room is an issue and I had to request one for my sister in laws room.

We also had different floors even though we waited for the second room my floor had rooms that housekeeping finished 5 minutes after we arrived.

We did arrive after checkin and room was not ready be aware you could arrive and not have a room ready after 3:00pm.

They will bill only charge for parking when you are 30 minutes late grabbing your car but it is at $40 dollar rate not the $30. With taxes it goes up to $46.80.

We do not recommend this property your understanding and patience will not be returned or appreciated. We are going back to Hilton and the rewards program is superior.

Staff and amenities were great. $23 to mandatorily have their valet service park your vehicle literally 20 ft from the front door... Not so great.
We'll find a different Holiday Inn Express and Suites next time we're in Anaheim

Family of 4, and we all commented how nice of a stay this was. The walk to Disney is only 5-6 minutes and allowed us to run back and forth several times during the day. This was a huge benefit because as much as I would like to think we could go all day, w/ young kids, we needed the breaks, and staying so close removed any stress. We stayed on the 5th floor, elevators were quick, our room was spacious and EXTREMELY clean. HUGE shoutout to Arely Bares in room service. If possible, request to stay on the floor she is working. She went above and beyond every single day, and it was such a luxury to know you were coming back from Disney to a spotless room. (I doubt you will see this, but THANK YOU, Arely! We will be back, and you are a huge reason why.).

The staff was so so welcoming and kind to our family. Our room was always left clean and comfortable for us to return to after our long days in Disneyland. Arely, our housekeeper, made the younger kids smile every time they came into the room and found their stuffed animals propped up waiting for them. Any extra need our family had (like extra pillows, blankets, etc.) was taken care of promptly and with kindness. We will definitely be keeping this hotel in mind for future trips and recommending to others.

Are you tired of compromising when booking a hotel for your Disneyland visit? "This hotel is close, but no breakfast" is a common phrase I've used, or "Breakfast is included with this hotel, but unfortunately so are the bed bugs". Didn't have to compromise when staying here, this hotel was awesome! It started when I called Ty after arriving much later for check in than expected. I had requested a crib for our 4 month old and Ty had it all set up in our room, ready for our late arrival. The breakfast was amazing, a full hot breakfast included with our stay. Why does it feel like hotels aren't doing that anymore these days? The breakfast was a highlight of staying here for sure.

Finally the bed and location. You don't need a Fitbit to tell you that you walked 20,000+ steps at Disneyland, you're gonna feel it! At the end of the night its nice to know that your amazing bed is only a 10 min walk away.

I rarely stay at the same place twice when making the multiple trips a year to Disneyland, but this hotel might break that trend for my family. The only thing that's a bummer is the parking fee. We didn't pay it this time since we flew into LAX and used a shuttle, but we usually drive so we'll see if the value holds up while being charged so much to park our car.
