      What to Know

      Critics Consensus

A prickling debut that pulls few punches, Hacks deftly balances its sharp critiques of the comedy world with more intimate moments, all the while giving the incomparable Jean Smart a role worthy of her talents -- and an excellent partner in Hannah Einbinder.

Kayla Kumari Upadhyaya Autostraddle Hacks takes two very unlikable characters, mixes them together, and transmutes them into something truly irresistible. It’s a staggering feat of chemistry. May 23, 2022 Full Review Shannon Keating BuzzFeed News Exploring what’s funny about the pain of human existence isn’t anything new in comedy, of course, but the genre has perhaps taken on a new tenor now that comedians are writing about the particularities of their self-loathing... Apr 5, 2022 Full Review Benji Wilson Daily Telegraph (UK) The pacing is exquisite, with every episode revealing just enough of Deb and Ava’s backstory to cast them repeatedly in a new light. Rated: 5/5 Apr 1, 2022 Full Review Bree Fowler CNET Send this show to anyone who tells you women aren't funny. Better yet, tell them that debate ended decades ago, then put your feet up and enjoy this year's most perfect piece of television. Nashville I The 1st season is pretty good. Sometimes it can be too crass but there are enough twists and laughs to keep you hooked. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 05/08/24 Full Review PT B Jean Smart is excellent! Well written characters. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/06/24 Full Review Samantha C Incredible to see stories that are funny and well written that are about female relationships. Not only that, but unconventional ones, ones that aren't based on romance, but the nuance between humans. I love love love the premise of the show, the writing and the characters. Great balance of comedy and heart. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/11/24 Full Review Koo K Brilliant series that has gotten too little exposure compared to how good it is. Definately worth the watch! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 11/25/23 Full Review Emma W When you're in a relationship the worst thing you can find out is a cheating spouse. Recently I noticed a change of behavior in my husband. He started coming home late and also detached from everyone in the family including our kids. I was so stressed considering the sacrifices I made for our relationship. Due to my suspicions regarding my husband's behavior I felt compelled to investigate further. I wasn't sure about finding a legit hacker who could do a job well done. So I went online and searched for legit hackers and came across Cybernet Surveillance and it had so many great positive reviews and I decided to give them a try. They were able to hack his phone and all his social media accounts and also use GPS to track all his whereabouts and we found out he was truly cheating. I was so heartbroken but I owe my gratitude to Cybernet Surveillance for being able to hack his phone and bring everything to light. The professionalism, expertise and care exhibited by their team throughout this process was truly commendable. Thanks for your great services Cybernet Surveillance, Please feel free to contact them through their email; (Cybernetsurveillance @ mail . com) for any form of hacking. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/18/24 Full Review Ken B This is a great show. I've always loved Jean Smart and I think this is a great part for her. I will definitely be staying tuned for future seasons!
