Synopsis

Based on the true story of the family run Canal Street Brothel in New Orleans and how it was busted up by the FBI. The business was owned and operated by Jeanette, whose mother ran the books and was a prostitute herself in her day. Jeanette's daughter Monica has become one of the brothel's most requested prostitutes though her mother wants a different life for her. When one of their affluent clients is arrested on fraud charges, he attempts to sell out the brothel to escape prosecution. The business is raided by the FBI and the family is incarcerated and broken apart. They must decide whether to reveal their client list of face further prosecution and the total destruction of their family.
