My answer is always the latest one because I don't fear change

The newest one is the correct answer . We all like new stuff.

1.13 was so innovative when it was released, with the swimming, and magma/soulsand lifts. But now every updates been doing some crazy stuff, so it shines less.

But at the time 1.13 slapped

That's a very good point

I still play on 1.12.2 because all the great mods of that version

For vanilla I like 1.16.2 and 1.8. For modded I like 1.12's and 1.16.2.

1.8 has a special place in my heart because that's where I started to play.

1.16.2 I had a lot of fun with that one. The changes were subtle.

1.12's had amazingly awesome mod packs. Far more than 1.10 which is where I got into modded.

1.16.2 for the stability of vanilla code and modded and the wide range of modpacks.

The one where they finish the second combat update will be the best.

For me it was 1.17, because of the axeolotol!

I love 16.5 modded but for vanilla it’s always the newest version. The Nether update was the first time I’ve played in years so it always has a place in my heart. As far as the newer versions it’s almost a testament to how much everything has changed. It’s not the same anymore but neither am I.
