Amazing customer service!! I emailed the resort before we came with a few questions and the owner was more than accommodating and answered everything in full detail. Resort was clean, helpful and had some nice extras! Our room had everything we needed and was kept clean. Plenty of deer roaming around the resort and lots of activities to do close by. A cute place, we will be back! Thanks again.

the resort itself was really good. It was very clean, staff were friendly and accommodating. They have a sauna, game room, fire pits and a really pretty courtyard in the middle which has Barbeques for use by the people staying at the resort.
We rented tubes through the resort to tube down the channel which was very scenic and relaxing, we even saw a bat flying around. I have rented from the other tube companies for the Pinawa channel and Wilderness edge's tube were by far more comfortable and I believe cheaper. They also have canoes and rafts for rent.
I have been several times and will continue to keep coming.

We were really excited to try tubing on the pinewa channel today as we had heard wonderful things. My brother booked through this company. We paid around $17 for a tube which was suppose to include the shuttle service to have our vehicle available at the end. When I called questioning the rainy weather, they told me to come early, before our 3:00 booked float time to avoid the rains. So we came early only to be told there were no tubes to go out early so we had to wait. The info email told us to be there at least at 2:30 for instructions but another lady gave really vague instructions and didn’t ask us to check in or sign the waiver. No one really knew where the tubes for our float were and said we could go wait at the dam. We waited there for about 20 min then our tubes arrived with again vague instructions but said it was a 3 hour run. I was told on the phone it was a 2 hour run. They told our party to go wait by the river because a shuttle was going to take the drivers to the end of the route and then bring us back but unfortunately the shuttle never came after an hour of waiting. My 7 and 10 year old boys were stuck waiting by the river waiting for me. I finally drove to the finish site to see if maybe their shuttle would be there but I was not and the nice fellow from the other float company offered me a ride back but due to the heavy rain and waiting for over an hour, we were tired and our enthusiasm was gone. The other float company also mentioned they canceled their afternoon float because of the rainy weather. Probably a smart idea to avoid people traveling all the way there only to be rained out. I called this company to ask for a refund and they did refund me. I am excited to try this float but will try the other company next time.

Worst experience ever. Booked online and told to come early for orientation and waiver signature. Lady at desk laughed when we asked about that and said she has no idea why they put that in. She directed us to where we should go to get our tubes. Got there and it was extremely disorganized and had to wait in the heat for an extra hour because they ran out of tubes. They just gave the tubes out with no idea who was taking them so of course they had no idea if you were going to ever get out of the river because they did not have list. only instruction received was overhearing from other company there renting tubes also. No help getting into tubes either. what was supposed to be 2 hours of floating down the river became 4 1/2 hours of working my way alone through dead spots in river and over rocks that are just under surface with NO PADDLE. my group was separated from beginning as they gave us nothing to tether our tubes together. My legs are short and i had a terrible time moving in some areas. There was no one to help or monitor if there were problems. At exit I was so exhausted I nearly drowned in a deep spot but a good samaritan pulled me up from water. Most others in my group ended up being towed in from kind people who offered help but I ended up alone, bloody, rubbed raw on my arms and legs, traumatized from this experience and it did not need to be like that with more organization, instruction and A PADDLE!!!

We called ahead the day before to book a spot. 2 other companies were tried were already full. They got us in for 10:30 am. We showed up 30 mins early and they got us right in. Signed in and then drove 2 minutes down the road to the meeting spot. Then my husband followed the staff to the end parking spot and they drove him back. Took 5 minutes approx. luckily there were no bugs out. We then walked carrying our tubes about 2 minutes down to the water. It’s steep so go slow and wear water shoes like every review says. Some guys we saw were not and all I could think was how dumb. $9 a Walmart bud. Flip flops will likely fall off. We brought a small back pack cooler w snacks and drinks my husband carried on his lap. We brought a waterproof phone case for a few beauty shots of the huge tall rocks, turtle, small beaver dam, geeze and ducks we saw. It took us about 2 hours to complete we hand paddles in the slow spots. Our daughter is 11 she had a great time. Fine for kids her age any younger I wouldn’t personally bring, slow spots they can’t paddle medium speed spots they might get scared. And at the end, it’s deep water. There’s a rope to help stop if you don’t make it to the side. I thought I was close when I slipped myself off but it was too deep to touch surprising because the whole time it seemed about knee deep. I grabbed my tube and the light current pulled me I did have a slight struggle to pull me and my tub. My daughter and husband got off at just the right spot I guess... they thought I was weird for having so much trouble. Then we went to the suspension bridge just over head at the spot where your car and the tubbing ends. Perfectly mapped out guys! 2 for one!! Great Manitoba day adventure will do again w other family members next time. A few more would be fun on this journey. Arms are sore today a small paddle would have been smart.

Called in advance as we wanted to take 3 kids and 2 adults tubing. I was informed that the tubes would be $6 each. When we got there it took 30 mins to be served (nobody manning the desk, nobody in line), and then was informed the charge was over $120! I said no way I was told it was $6 a tube! They then informed me it was that amount if you stayed at the hotel overnight. Not happy. I was also told on the phone that there is a drop off service where they drive you to the start point and will follow you to drop your car. It seemed like pulling teeth to get someone to do this. The guy at the front desk asked one of the workers to do it and the worker responded "well I'm cleaning stairs so I can't" right in front of us!
The hotel cannot control the water level either which I get, however they wanted extra if we wanted to rent a paddle.
Next time we will bring our own tubes and not worry about the hassle we apparently caused the hotel.

7/10. Very poorly run....not given much info. Can’t leave keys at hotel...MUST take them with you on tube....water levels were low so it was v v slow moving ....a paddle would have helped a lot. We got hung up,on the rocks many times. It’s very scenic and peaceful. Saw a beaver...others saw a turtle. Exiting is odd....just gotta get off before suspension bridge or warned that you will. have to float another two hours downstream.
No help getting into channel or out! The whole event is an odd business , run by teenage guys....but the channel is beautiful.
