- Robert C1 contributionThe distillery is beautiful and traditional. We had a "sit and sip" where we learned about the history of the distillery and their bourbon. They were setting up for a wedding, but did not make us feel rushed in any way. The whole staff was fantastic, and of course, the bourbon was amazing.Written May 21, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sean SNashville, TN38 contributionsThe Picking Parlor is a great way to kick off the tour—you can play or listen to others. The exhibits are arranged chronologically so that it’s easy to follow the development of Bluegrass. The facility is quite nice, and we had a relaxing picnic lunch in the public park behind the building. Since the park fronts on the Ohio River, we had a nice view and a quiet moment before heading out for our next destination.Written July 27, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - mannekrem3 contributionsI liked all the different rooms. But mostly the cafeteria. The people were very nice and the food was very good. We bought a roll top desk and the manager had a few people come out and help us load that heavy thing on our trailer. They were wonderful. We couldn’t have done it without them all. All in all a unique experience.Written August 26, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Cathy HKY54 contributionsThis is a very clean well-kept park and lake area. We went to fish there and were very impressed with the park. Caught several fish there. There are plenty of parking spaces. Lots of stuff for kids to play on and with. Good picnic areas. It is just a short drive from Owensboro. Our only downside was that the days we were there to just enjoy some quiet fishing time there were several school bus loads of kids for a field trip and it was not good! Of course we had no idea they would be there. Did enjoy the park before the buses arrived though. After that we decided to leave as it became really loud and noisy...scared the fish off...and us!Written May 25, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - TravelerNanaKim16 contributionsWe visit Reid's every fall to go apple picking. The farm is beautiful! Many flowers and butterflies in addition to the lively apple trees. The shop offers a variety of apples, vegetables, baked goods, and gifts. The apple cider slushes are delicious.Written October 19, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Angie PLewisport, KY19 contributionsLove this park. Several great locations to have family reunion, church picnics and day camps. Great playground and even a splash pad. The Parks and Rec do a great job of maintaining itWritten March 19, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ron SBuffalo, NY33 contributionsAs we now have family living in the Owensboro area, when visiting we have had several opportunities to stop in the Owensboro Antique Mall. Nice place! Located downtown thus readily accessible to the entire region, it offers a wide variety of items of various sorts. Something and more for everyone's tastes and interests! While there are some high-end things for same, most are very reasonably priced. It must be popular, as the wares seem to turn over frequently. Easy and convenient parking. One can simply browse the facility to see what is there, and walk out empty handed, or leave with items that one has been looking for but unable to find anywhere else - - even husbands tagging along with their wives and who would otherwise not be interested in "antiquing"! Very much worth a stop to check it out!Written February 7, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Heath WagnerEvansville, IN5,238 contributionsNo trip to Owensboro is complete without a stop at the Consumer Mall. I get over to the city once every few months and always find new things to check out. The employee’s are always friendly and I left with several items once again.Written January 3, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Kygirl56Kentucky153 contributionsLove this PAC and their shows but now that I have gotten older and have difficulty walking distances, I can no longer attend as they do not offer valet parking. In my opinion, they’re missing out of serving a segment of the population.Written October 26, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - rickyidlettOwensboro, KY44 contributionsI have bought a few things from Don's and could spend all day in his warehouse that is jam packed with art, antiques, and collectibles. When a business in the area closes down, Don buys their signage and anything else he can. Don't try to haggle with him, he is a great guy and has reasonable prices but he sticks to his guns. One of my favorite places to pick.Written June 21, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- DrMarc9491Franklin, KY3,956 contributionsAttended a conference here and had a very good experience. Center was clean and the staff was very polite. The location is close to downtown and to the river front. New construction is being done across the street (shops and hotels, I believe).
Restroom were clean, and place to eat were quick in service with quality food. Wonderful place to conduct a meeting.
