Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

An absolute gem of a museum with so much to see. There was a lot more than I expected and I really enjoyed the Victorian streets, which really bring history to life. It's great for anyone interested in social history.

Fabulous building, brilliant ceiling. Free entry, it has a bundle of shops inside, but the experience is let down by having no information boards to give you any history.

Was a great evening, the show was fantastic and the singers were absolutely brilliant.
A few people danced but most of the audience stayed seated, which was a shame - staff were brilliant too.
    We had a great night

If you want a nice walk along the Leeds/Liverpool canal stop at a pub called the cross keys in east malton on the skipton road.there is a path at the side of the pub that leads straight down to the canal and you can walk in either direction. Would definitely recommend this walk, beautiful scenery and loads of wildlife.

My son and I enjoyed the atmosphere on the top floor made real by a chap operating the Mule, who was a great story-teller and was very knowledgeable about the working conditions within the mill. I rate him 5 stars! The rest of the building was interesting but could be improved using guides (like the chap) to bolster a more original experience, with better use of sounds and smells, etc. Overall, we enjoyed the Mill experience.

Stopped here on the way to holiday in Harrogate. The weather was amazing which certainly helped ! Had a super walk around the site, many lovely views. There were birds of different types too. Even i counted 14 different species.

    Cafe was ok too.

Great dog walk through the forest.
Car park too but gets busy at peak times.
Excellent café across the road too (vegetarian). Great food and cakes.
    Best to book though.

Great for families, couples and solos, nearly a mile’s walk around the Tarn; lots of ducks, geese and swans; a great playground for the kids; a bandstand and, quite often, an ice cream van.

Studied the free map and saw there were feeders in the managers garden. I had no idea where this was as I don't think it was sign posted. Never had I seen this area before. It's higher up than the toilets up a gravel path. 8 feeders all numbered so you can say jay on 5. And it was 30 minutes of a beautiful jay bouncing about and feeding on nuts.
    Go there .

We had booked in here for afternoon tea with a couple of friends. At £14 a head the price is very good. The foods was excellent and bottomless cups of tea or coffee a great deal. Friendly staff. Only downside was the length of time it took to take payment at the end. Whilst there are two tills, our waitress “queued” at then one nearest the conservatory where we had been seated, and waited for about 10 minutes whilst another waitress was doing some sort of reconciliation with receipts. Why not use the other till, or at least give us an apology for the wait once the transaction was completed?

Such a terrifying but amazing experience. It was our first time playing an escape room. We had picked the Chapel of unrest, the hardest room there. We were 2 locks away from completing. It was just me and my friend which made it so much harder haha The live actor was absolutely brilliant, got me good on many occasions. We was screaming practically the whole time, It was so intense, definitely got the adrenaline going. Can't wait to go back and hopefully complete it the next time. Very well organised and the staff were friendly too.

Great fun and a more unique concept compared to the other escape rooms available in Leeds. A shout out to Teddy who was accommodating after we were late due to taxis, and his brilliant sense of humour in character added quality to the experience.

Lovely cafe in a gorgeous garden, hidden away in Adel. Ample car parking, cobbled path in but mostly flat so ok for my Mum with her mobility issues. Cafe is bright, clean and tidy with floor to ceiling window at thd front, great tasty food from the ample menu. We both had jacket spuds with salmon and sour cream, generous portion with fresh salad. Friendly smiley staff, good value, family friendly, lovely place, would recommend!

A great ale bar with a selection of drinks. Has a great atmosphere and reasonably priced. Great spot for dog walks and a few on a Sunday.
