What the he**!!! What a restaurant!
Visited Berlin for 2 nights in business with family and wanted to introduce my partner to the Lebanese food. I wasn’t wrong to randomly pick this family authentic place. The place is always full but they will do their best to accommodate you ( the way they did with us when we called for a last minute reservation) the food is wow. Falafel, hummous, motabal (my partner loved it) the grills platter, vine leaves … the bread is so fresh. Now we got to speak about the service! We were fortunate enough to meet the son of the founders. Amazing lovely gentleman. Very welcoming. Try their red wine (Lebanese) as we have visited in winter. Red wine made the perfect sense. Lastly. On the way out we were able to pick up roses at the exit of which added a special touch. Loved it ❤️🙌🏻

The falafels are to die for! If you’re looking for delicious and cheap Middle Eastern food that’s the place. Service is incredibly quick even though the place is constantly packed with people. Keep in mind that payment is cash only.

We always visit here when in Berlin, and haven’t had a better falafel wrap anywhere else in the world!
Not tried anything else because the falafel is so good and has been for the last 4 years we have been visiting!

Don’t read the negative comments here, just go there, if it’s full (it is usually, many people, super loud, very chaotic), wait for a free table, order the Babel plate with everything, and a pomgrenade juice and see for yourself how good it is. Is it authentic? Who knows, it’s tasty, the staff sure isn’t native Germans. Is it a tourist trap? Why is it packed with locals on a wednesday evening then? Do they serve mint tea as mint leaves in hot water? Yes, so they do in Tel Aviv.

I had a great meal here 10 years ago, and as the restaurant was very close to the place we were staying this time, we decided to revisit. Unfortunately the experience was not that good. Not bad, but closer to average than good.
First of all: instead of getting the time and the peace to choose our dishes and look through the menu, we were pretty forcefully pressured to choose the selection platters. Well, I ate a similar dish ten years ago and liked it, so why not.
But the food simply was not that great anymore. Some of it was nice: the tabbouli was as parsley-heavy as it is supposed to be, I love their toum, and the falafels were very nice. But the grilled vegetables, which form a large part of the dish, were not at all good: especially the eggplant I just had to leave on the plate, it was so tough. Although I ate most of it, I would not order it again.

Small restaurant but with several seats outside. Too loud and also the music was too loud. Good, fresh Lebanese food, but without any novelty or fantasy. Only the falafel was hard, didn't seem fresh at all.

Wow - just what we needed! Lovely restaurant, close to a tram stop with great atmosphere and friendly service. The veggie sharing dish for two really hit the spot. Probably one of the best falafel plates that we’ve eaten - and we’ve had a few in our time!

A few years ago I had Lebanese food with a friend in Berlin and from the taste I was totally blown away. The old restaurant from back then doesn‘t not longer exists, so we decide to test the Babel this time. Definitely the right choice! The Babel plate for 2 people is awesome! MUST TRY (and there is also a vegetarian version available)! Many things on it to try, really tasty and at the End we get a small desert for free!

Very clean open kitchen and fast service. The waiters were very friendly and the food was DE-LI-CIOUS. Also we recommend the Lebanese wine. We will certainly come back!!

We visited, without reservation, whilst staying down the road at a local hostel. We were seated quickly and food was delivered speedily.
Food was delicious, I especially loved the lamb kofte.
Our only issue was the temperature of venue as their patio heaters aren’t very good. Wrap up warm!

We were taken here for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed it. The vegetarian platter for two easily served four of us, just with the addition of more falafel (is it possible to have too much falafel?). We loved the falafel, the sauces, the pickles...everything on the plate. The beautiful flowers all round the restaurant terrace really created a lovely atmosphere.

We had high expectations of this place, but was hugely disappointed. The food was cold and not tasty at all.
Then I ordered a mint tea and the waiter brings me boiled water with mint leaves in it - and no sugar!
I went inside to ask for sugar and was pointed by a man behind the desk to a shelf. It was salt!!
This place sucks! Don’t waste your money. Only people who doesn’t know about middle eastern food will like this place.
And they too don’t take credit card. It’s a common problem in Berlin with restaurants run by foreigners.

The food here is so flavorful and the portions are gigantic. There is tons of variety in each dish, and everything is served at top speed. The staff are just dynamite, especially the proprietor.
