The Canadian Museum for Human Rights is a must visit if in the Winnipeg area. There are exhibits here that you never thought you would see here, and they make you reflect on how you view human rights and the world after seeing them. Since the topic of human rights is so abstract and often involves many ideas of all kinds, you will find exhibits covering human rights all over the world. They also have some great interactive exhibits too for people of all ages. The price of admission is also not too steep when you consider how long you will spend here. Plan at least two to three hours to cover all the exhibits in full detail. Architectural fans will especially love being here, the building is an absolute masterpiece.

And at the top of the museum, you will be greeted to amazing 360 degree views of the City of Winnipeg. Don't miss it, unless you have a fear of heights. Climbing up the stairs from the last exhibit to the top can be very dizzying!

All in all, Winnipeg should be proud to have a place like this right in their own city! This museum is one of a kind, and honestly, this is a place I would expect to find in Ottawa.

Gorgeous gardens and interesting sculptures. We brought our dogs as the garden allows them on the grounds. Very peaceful garden and easy to access from nearby parking lots

Great park, saw a mixture of wildlife including deer, rabbits, squirrels, and even a fox! It was a snowy day so everything was white, but still beautiful.

    Went there with my family.
This Museum has so many sections dedicated to how Manitoba evolved over years. Right from stones & minerals that Manitoba is formed of, to the cultural tribes that wove the threads Manitoba's evolution, from all possible angles.
Impressive display of artifacts. Interactive enough to engage the entire family.

    Overall - strongly recommended place

My favourite go-to place in Winnipeg. I used to come here all the time when I lived in Manitoba. While I was back in town, I knew I had to come here. I'm happy to report that the place is still just as charming and beautiful as I remember it. There's something to do for everyone here, from the riverwalk to the antique shops to a children's museum to a hotel to a travel info centre to the Canadian Museum for Human Rights. I could go on and on about more specifics about what you can find here, but I won't do that. I LOVE how everything you find here is locally made and not commercialized.

There's also excellent food options here, the majority of them all local! This is great to see, especially if you want to get a taste of Winnipeg. Classics like Fergie's Fish and Chips and The Original Pancake House can be found here, as well as some delicious pizza and food from all over the world. There's also a small observatory you can go up to get a good view of The Forks, and during winter time, from what I remember, there's an ice skating rink too.

Parking can be a bit tricky sometimes but there should be plenty, regardless of when you visit. If you're debating whether or not to visit... DO VISIT. It's 100% worth the trip. I'll certainly be back here the next time I'm in the Winnipeg area.

We took our Ukrainian friends on a tour of the Royal Mint today.
We visited the gift shop where several lovely new coins are displayed. Then on with the tour.
I have to say Kade was an excellent tour guide. We learned a lot of new things in his very informative and upbeat tour.
Thanks Kade, our Ukrainian friends enjoyed it immensely and said “ we learned a lot of interesting information”

Went there with my family. It was initially boring but soon we were engaged. Clicked pictures within the premises.
    The historic airplanes are gorgeous.

For an aviation enthusiast, this is probably heaven.
For me, it was a great spot to spend quality time with family.

We had a great time at the Winnipeg Zoo. The animals are well taken care of and zoo keepers were kind, friendly, and very helpful! We loved the polar beers, seals, and monkeys! It was us and our early 20’s kids and we all had a great time. We highly recommend!

Marit was an excellent tour guide. We called ahead, but they were not a lot of people for today’s 2 PM tour. The tour lasted 1 1/4 hours. We were taken through the building, one of the legislative rooms, the legislative assembly room and other spaces. Please give me a like if you would like this review. Please look for my reviews of other Winnipeg attractions, as well as attractions in many cities in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, South America, and Asian countries

Fun place for adults and/or kids to experience nature, see bison, birds, red squirrels, and just be outside. We ate at the cafe and had a good lunch there too

An old market hall opened up with a selection of eateries and shops, we visited in the evening ,a lively set of options to eat, bit noisy so we went elsewhere but returned for breakfast and had a great freshly baked ham and cheese croissant and coffee, the touristy shops on offer we we felt not as previously reviewed, but higher class tourist gear, good selection for most tastes
