Hungrybox releases his final, final Super Smash Bros. Ultimate tier list

Back in May 2022, Liquid|Hungrybox released his "final" ordered tier list for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Based on where the meta was back then, Hungrybox actually listed Steve as being 18th overall, which would certainly be a unique take with how things are today.

Taking note of how the meta as changed drastically since then, Hungrybox has decided to release a brand new final tier list for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate to correct mistakes made with the previous rankings. Since there are so many characters in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Hungrybox has divided the roster up into nine different tier categories.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, Ganondorf sits at the bottom of the tier list by himself in the "LOL" tier category. Ultimately, Ganondorf is too flawed to even secure a spot in the E tier group alongside Little Mac, Piranha Plant, Isabelle, King Dedede, and Mii Swordfighter.

Bayonetta is a character that's certainly made a noteworthy climb in the ranks throughout the years. Though Hungrybox notes that she's nowhere near as problematic as she was in Smash 4, it would seem that Bayonetta has returned to her place as a top tier in the A+ tier category.

With how things are currently, it's stated that Steve, Sonic, Mr. Game & Watch, R.O.B., and Pyra & Mythra are the top five "god" characters in the game. Needless to say, these are the fighters that have been winning the most super majors as of late.

Hungrybox has about a 35 minute video explaining all of his placements. Check it all out below:
