Borussia Dortmund sign Abdoulaye Kamara from Paris Saint-Germain
Borussia Dortmund have completed the signing of 16-year-old midfielder Abdoulaye Kamara from Paris Saint-Germain.
Frenchman Kamara, who remains eligible to represent Guinea internationally, is a defensive midfielder who most recently played for PSG's U19s, three years ahead of the curve.
He made his debut for the first team in a friendly against Sochaux last summer, and Dortmund are convinced he will make quick progress at the Signal Iduna Park.
"Abdoulaye is a highly talented, and still very young, player who trained regularly with the pros in Paris," said Sebastian Kehl, Dortmund's head of the licensed player division. "We hope that he'll now develop accordingly in the senior section and take the next step."
Kamara is the third player on Dortmund's books who have previously been in PSG's youth set-up, following Dan-Axel Zagadou and Soumaila Coulibaly, while Thomas Meunier also previously played for the French side.
The 16-year-old, who has signed a long-term contract, could make his debut against Athletic Bilbao on 24 July.
