      Season 1 – I Am Cait

      2015 Reality Drama List
86% Tomatometer 44 Reviews 33% Audience Score 250+ Ratings Caitlyn Jenner's first public appearance since her transition included making an impassioned, heartfelt speech at the ESPY Awards about the need for understanding transgender issues and "accepting people for who they are." For her part, Caitlyn -- formerly known at Bruce Jenner -- eagerly welcomes the responsibility to educate people, the beginning of which plays out in the documentary series "I Am Cait." The hourlong episodes present a closer look at Jenner's life as a transgender woman, telling her intimate story as she seeks out her "new normal," while offering a better understanding of many of life's challenges. Most of all, Caitlyn looks forward to living for the first time as the person she feels she was born to be. "I'm just going to live life," she says. "I'm going to go enjoy life. I have nothing left to hide." Read More Read Less Watch on Fandango at Home Buy Now

Leela Ginelle Bitch Media I found the pilot to be gripping, splashy, and occasionally quite raw... I hope that in future episodes, the show continues to use Jenner's platform to highlight the lives of trans people with less privilege than her. Feb 3, 2021 Full Review Heather Hogan Autostraddle The biggest surprise of the summer is how many real, earnest, truly moved tears I have cried over I Am Cait, which, despite its detour into Karsashianville last week, has actually served as a sort of mini-documentary to educate. Jun 26, 2018 Full Review Michael Idato Sydney Morning Herald I Am Cait, the new television series which explores Caitlyn Jenner's new identity, is uncomfortably, beautifully, brutally honest. Oct 4, 2016 Full Review Andy Dehnart Reality Blurred What I Am Cait did best of all was educate indirectly via the reactions of others. Instead of exploring gender identity through the reactions of insightful Facebook commenters, the series gave us people close to Caitlyn. Feb 27, 2020 Full Review Alex Casey The Spinoff After watching the first episode, it feels like Caitlyn Jenner's new docuseries I Am Cait could be the most resonant and groundbreaking piece of television to come around in a long time. Jan 15, 2019 Full Review Pattie Pegler Stuff.co.nz This look at Caitlyn Jenner adjusting to life as a woman, is a thoughtful and sensitive piece of television. Viewed on its own of course it feels like just more trashy reality celeb stuff. Everything is relative I guess. Apr 26, 2017 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member Horrendous show about a murder that never was held accountable for killing pedestrians Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Why are these critics giving this show super high ratings???!!! Do they really want us to keep being force-fed this Kardashian/reality TV crap that is saturating the airwaves???!!! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member As usual, the paid critics get is so freaking wrong. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member I know this is for a good cause, but it is more like an infomercial. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member She is an inspiration to those that are struggling with their own gender identity. An opportunity to understand the struggle within is thought provoking, insightful, and, hopefully, earns our compassion and respect for their decisions and struggles. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/24/15 Full Review Audience Member This isn't inspirational. Its just shit Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 08/20/15 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
