Joined C sqn 17/21st lancers in Aldergrove Airport NIreland in 1970 after not doing the Pass out Parade as I broke my Arm and was on Light Duties.

Hahah
I remember those Bikes I rode one to Angelsey That put me off bikes for life brain and right hand throttle would not work together
and I used to pull the clutch going round corners and let it out as I got round it giving spectacular wheelies that I did not want
Rem the Prince of Wales investiture that we did ??
That is where I fell in love with my first Knocker aka AEC 10Ton Gs Cargo
and I am still in love with them .If I won the lotto it would be the first thing I would buy and then tramp around Europe at 32 MPH

no stu your forgetting the most important thing about driving a tenny, you need the engine cover up and you army issue adjustable spanner on the fuel pump bleed screw, because you know as soon as she gets down to half a tank of fuel she starts sucking up .s*** from the bottom of the tank.

Ah
Well mate you are forgetting the filter just behind the tank I think it was called the Primery filter and needed a 10 pfennig
under it and it stopped all the muck from the tank
MY TENNY got me to Sonthofen without problems ..well I had to wear a parka and 3 pairs of socks
and also mate the secondry filter was in the passenger area on the bulkhead below passenger window
the one under the engine cover was on the
CAV fuel injection pump
You are talking to a TENNY FANATIC NOW
STU
Think of Diesol smells and squeeky brakes and cold feet and you have got this lady under your arse
