With traditional Scandinavian folk instruments, the Lodestar Trio with UK’s own Max Baillie, will treat us to an evening of Baroque music in folk style, with Bach and other Baroque composers re-imagined for this unique combination. This will be followed by Argentinian Bandoneon player JP Jofre joined by artists in residence for his own music from South America. This is set to be a memorable evening of musical influences from around the world.

ORA Singers present a specially reconstructed edition of their programme, Elizabeth, our Queen; a celebration of Britain’s longest-serving monarch, linking the music of today to the masterworks written under Queen Elizabeth I. This special performance, Our Queens, Elizabeth, is dedicated to the life and service of Queen Elizabeth II, featuring the world première of a commission by Toby Young written in honour of our late Queen. This commission sets the text from Floral Tribute, a tribute to the Queen by Poet Laureate, Simon Armitage.
