Newton High School

 I am both honored and humbled to serve as the principal of the district's   flagship school. Our mission is to provide every child, every chance to succeed.   We support the Newton County School System’s goal of providing educational   excellence for all. Newton High School is a special place built upon a legacy of   excellence.  Academically, our students excel, becoming award winning   scholars who are well rounded and prepared for the future. Our most recent graduates earned more than 22.8 million dollars in academic and athletic scholarships.

Newton High School is also home to the Academy of Liberal Arts at Newton High School (ALANHS), which provides a structure to expose students to a variety of Humanities, World Languages, Fine Arts and Social Science courses specifically designed to prepare them for the rigor demonstrated at the collegiate level. In partnership with parents and our community, the sole function of ALANHS is to provide a globally competitive educational experience that is high quality, challenging, and inspires all students to make positive contributions to society.

Newton High School students are challenged each day to thrive by being RAMS- Respectful, Accountable, Motivated, and Successful.  The faculty and staff are tenacious in their pursuit of excellence for the students they serve. They have a heart for education and they value each student who enters their classroom. The school administrative team works to provide a safe and positive school environment for all stakeholders promoting collaboration with staff, students, and parents.
