It's the classic love story of our generation! The whirlwind of online dating that couldn’t have worked out more perfectly. Jessica and DJ both didn’t really expect to get anything out of it, but with a little chance and a whole lot of divine intervention, we are here now.

It all began with a little dating app called Hinge. One that makes online dating a little bit more intentional and personal; it’s not just the swiping of profiles. In a sea of numerous profiles, Jessica and DJ stumbled upon one another. DJ liked a photo, and Jessica started a conversation with DJ about seahorses (anyone who knows DJ knows this was obviously the best icebreaker possible). The two spoke for a few days, and then in very typical Jessica fashion, she read the message and answered it in her head, but didn’t actually send a message back. Luckily, DJ wasn’t ready to give up and he sent another message. Thank God he did. That message changed the trajectory of their lives forever.

The first date came and went, and then date after date just continued. The two could hardly stand to be away from each other for more than a few days. Seeing each other every few days very quickly turned into seeing each other every single night, and it hasn’t ever stopped. They were inseparable from the start, and with each passing moment, their bond grows with each encounter of joy, laughter, and gratitude. Together, they have shed many tears, had many laughs, and countless beautiful memories, all while keeping God at the center of their relationship. Their love story is a testament to the work God does in our lives when we least expect it. All we have to do is trust Him.
