Richard Li’s Ex Isabella Leong And Their 3 Sons Reportedly Not Getting A Share Of Li Ka-Shing’s S$50Bil Fortune

Hong Kong billionaire Li Ka-shing and his family have found themselves in the spotlight again after it was reported that the 94-year-old has redistributed his wealth.

Ka-shing is the wealthiest man in Hong Kong and has an estimated US$35.4 billion (S$50bil) net worth. 

He has two sons, Victor, 58, who is married with four kids, and Richard, 55.

According to reports, Ka-shing’s wealth will be split among Victor plus his family, Richard, as well as his charitable trust, Li Ka Shing Foundation.

Notably missing were Richard’s baby mama, Hong Kong actress Isabella Leong, 33, and their three sons.

Isabella and Richard dated for three years, before splitting in 2011.

The news isn’t all that surprising considering Isabella and her boys were left out of Ka-shing’s estate plan in 2018 too.

Some netizens reasoned that since Isabella and Richard did not marry, she should not be entitled to anything.

And while their sons take Richard’s surname, they live with Isabella, and it's said that they aren't close to their dad and his side of the family.

Furthermore, Isabella reportedly received HK$100mil (S$17.8mil) when she gave birth to their first son Ethan in 2009, so it's not like she needs the money.

We don’t think Isabella is losing sleep over the news either.

Following her split with Richard, she has appeared in movies like Murmur of the Hearts (2015), Missbehaviour (2019), and Love After Love (2020), and is the face of luxury skincare brand Clé de Peau.

Home for Isabella is a HK$500mil (S$88.7mil) mansion in Hong Kong that Richard reportedly gifted her. She also has another house in New York.

Isabella met Richard through Michelle Yeoh, her co-star in Hollywood movie The Mummy 3 in 2008 when she was just 19.

She gave birth to their son, Ethan, the following year, followed by twin boys in 2010, a year before their breakup.

Though Isabella had to give up her career to become a mother, she said previously that she does not regret her decision as she had met a guy she loved.

 “To bear him a few children, I feel it is worth it,” she said then.
