Thomas S. Wootton High School Reviews
Rating 3.77 out of 5 559 reviews
What makes this school amazing is the diversity amongst the student body, faculty, and the resources offered in most of the departments. The school does a great job at preparing students for education after high school with how many AP and honors courses are available. There is a plethora of clubs and activities that students can be a part of, and it's very easy to start up your own too, creating so many opportunities for students to be more involved. I will say, the school is a lot better at academics than our social events and often times it feels very academically competitive due to how well the students are able to perform. The school is also in desperate need of a renovation now. Alumni from years ago would visit and explain how the school looks the exact same. There would always be leaks around the school during my time too, and for a while we also still had classes in the portables. Overall, I think Wootton is great school!
My experience at Thomas S. Wootton High School has good and bad aspects. When it comes to the good aspects, I love the diversity and inclusion my school has to offer. But when it comes to the downside, not everyone is connected with one another. It seems as though we are a divided school. To make my school better I feel like we should do more school activities with all grade levels and talents. So overall, it’s an amazing school for academics, but we need more adversity and better understandings of one another.
