Reviews
- For a while now I have thought that my favorite work of John Coltrane's was his collaboration with Johnny Hartmann. This is the absolute longplay essence of the exact feel of that work and with all the character as instrumental ensembles vary throughout the album. Johnny Hartmann even appears occasionally throughout this compilation. This is pure relaxation and a vibe of timeless quality. This album is constantly pushing the edge of cheesy lounge jazz, ever so slightly invested on another more psychedelic and universally connected plane of reality. This is worth every penny you decide to spend on it.
