At ACS Egham, we are the first school in the UK authorised to offer all four International Baccalaureate (IB) programmes
IB Primary Years Programme (IBPYP) ages 4-11
- Nurtures and develops students ages 4-12 as caring, active participants in a lifelong journey of learning
- Challenges students to think for themselves
- Encourages students to take responsibility for their learning.
IB Middle Years Programme (IBMYP) ages 11-16
- Educates the whole person
- Emphasises intellectual challenge, encouraging students to make connections between their studies in traditional subjects and the real world
- Development of skills for communication, intercultural understanding and global engagement.
IB Career-related Programme (IBCP) ages 16-18
- Developed for students who wish to engage in career-related learning while gaining transferable and lifelong skills in applied knowledge, critical thinking, communication, and cross-cultural engagement.
IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) ages 16-18
- An academically challenging programme of education, with final examinations, that prepares students aged 16 to 19 for success at university and in life beyond
- The programme has gained recognition and respect from the world’s leading universities.
US High School Diploma
All students who graduate from ACS Egham earn an American High School Diploma. Students are able to choose from an extensive range of traditional and contemporary subjects to create their own uniquely challenging programmes.
English As An Additional Language (EAL) | Home Language Enrichment (HLE) |
The EAL programme at ACS Egham is designed to help students whose native language is not English. Grades 1-10:

ACS Egham encourages all students to maintain their native language proficiency, as it helps their acquisition of additional languages. A dynamic HLE programme is offered, and the languages offered reflect the major nationalities in the school. The school financially supports this programme through after-school or elective classes – providing there are sufficient students numbers. |
