    Was here about a month ago & gave it top score but yesterday it was pants! Service woeful & food not great. Had the breakfast & the fried eggs looked like they had been sitting congealing for ages. I was offered a comp coffee to make up for it, but that took 15 minutes to arrive. I also never did get the water i asked for (twice) 🤦‍♀️

    Wonderful food and very attentive well informed staff. Ambiance perfect for the evening . We have dined at the Ivy many times ,it is consistently good . Highly recommended

    Wonderful service by superb staff. Thank you so much. Food great as ever. Ambience a bit loud mainly due to one or two really inconsiderate tables - perhaps the manager could intervene? But that’s a suggestion not a complaint. Really loved our visit overall.

    The staff were outstanding and attentive, perfectly tuned into our needs. As always, the service was impeccable. I highly recommend stopping by for an afternoon tea or coffee—it's well worth it!

    The food is good and excellent value. Beautiful setting. The Maitre D is one of the most charming men in London.

    The 1917 menu is good value but limited. The highlight of the evening was our waiter, Haythem who was brilliant

    Three points that prevented a five star review: 1. The long-standing French manager has not been present the last couple of visits. He’s top notch. A Young lady was on the door instead. She totally ignored my written request as to avoiding table next to door, loo or kitchen. She gave us a table right by the front door. Max traffic. When I asked her to read my special request/allergy note, she made really heavy, unsmiling weather of another table at the far end. Not a great table but ok. Not a good start! 2. The white wine was almost room temperature “due to high volume of demand”. 3. Same for the sparkling mineral water. But the food was really very good and the waiters tried very hard to please, which was great.
