This is pretty useful if you want to study the strategy and tactics of the Great War, but it's especially worth noting because it's an absolutely gorgeous book, beautifully designed and laid out.

This volume somewhat belies the name of the series, as the Americans make only a very late appearance. This is, however, an outstanding collection of maps of the major campaigns of the Great War, neglecting only the colonial campaigns and the Caucasus.
